YE 29
The major theme of Yamataian Calendar year YE 29 was the ongoing war between the Star Army of Yamatai and the Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Xhrafuklurp (SMX).
YE 29 began November 20, 2005 and lasted until summer 2007.
Notable events
Independent
- First contact with Sourcians is established. An alliance formed with the Lorath Matriarchy, Democratic Imperium of Nepleslia and the Freespacers.
- First contact with Separa'Shan by the YSS Celia.
Lorath
- Lorath Civil War (see: Lorath History)
Nepleslia
- Nepleslian Intelligence and Pacification Group formed and based on Rok'Veru
- The Nepleslian Kennewes Offensive begins in response to Kennewesan Red attack on Nepleslian Homeworld.
- Nepleslian Arms and Munitions is created. NAM constructs an orbital shipyard and begins mining operations.
Yamatai
- NH-29 enters service, largely replacing the NH-17 Nekovalkyrja.
- The Species Restriction Order of YE 29 is issued, limiting species in the Star Army of Yamatai to Nekovalkyrja and Yamataians.
- Henry Chen resigns his commission as the Taisho of the Third Expeditionary Fleet, names Aurore Branard as successor.
- The YSS Sakura destroyed during the Second Battle of Breaker's Point (Urghaflu).
- The Fifth Expeditionary Fleet Chujo Koyanagi Mayumi retires from the Star Army of Yamatai.
- YSS Plumeria is destroyed.
- The YSS Goban incident, and the formation of the ISC Phoenix
- An incident involving a malfunctioning AI on Taiie no Iori causes a high number of casualties in the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet which has a profound effect on the soldiers in the fleet and in the cluster. Aftermath of the incident triggers the official creation of the Motoyoshi Clan.
- Shimizu-Motoyoshi Akina (清水本吉明菜) is killed during the incident at the Iori.
- The Motoyoshi Clan gain popularity and power in the Bard Cluster.
- The battle of Murf takes the lives of many of the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet upper ranks. Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko has herself shot and killed.
- The Battle Of Taiie results in the destruction of Taiie, the entire Bard Cluster is disrupted. Survivors are scattered across the Yamatai Star Empire.
- Survivors from Taiie are scattered across the Empire, including to Pisces Station where they are faced with harsh conditions under the command of Taisa Marina Arisa. Bad conditions create a feeling of separation between the ranks of the fleet and the Empire.
- YSS Yugumo launched under the command of Motoyoshi Kiyoko
- Motoyoshi Bakufu is created as a localized government for the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet and the survivors.
