James has a soldiers body, it was built on the large side with broad shoulders and tapers down, though James is a big person, he is by no means the biggest NH-31 people have ever seen. His skin is a weather beaten tan.

James forgoes the bright and stylish hair in favor of the all-purpose short and dark, suitable for a formal dinner or a vac suit. The slight auburn undertone lends a slight playfulness to his severe buzz-cut of a hairdo

James has an annoying, and sometimes misunderstood habit… He cracks his knuckles when he is under stress.

Personality: To his superiors, James Papadapolus is a respectful, courteous, and efficient soldier. He is a quick study and will not balk in the face of danger.

To his peers, James is a loyal and steadfast friend, quick to laugh and forgive slights, but doesn't trust easily. James settles his debts when he can, and helps out wherever he can. James has a slow burning temper, which is suppressed at almost all times by his military side, but when time comes that enough has stoked his rage that it boils over… James is a very trained individual to say the least.

James was an only child, and with his father always away, his mother had to care for him all on her own, prone to wandering around the beautiful world on his own, he was exposed to many of the worlds wonders, though not all wonders are nice. Some of the other children were bullies and James had to learn really fast how to defend himself, fighting dirty and quickly. Others were politically protected from physical fights, and James had to learn how to control his anger when they crossed paths, so as to not get into the type of trouble he, and his family, couldn't get out of. In the short visits from his father, he learned the basics of mechanical repairs and maintenance. His father's pride in his work and the stories he told inspired James to join the Yamatai Star Army at the age of seventeen.

As part of the mandatory Star Army Training, James is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures. He is fluent in Yamataian, and can write reports, fill forms and issue orders under fire

As part of the mandatory Star Army Training, James received hand to hand training, energy pistols, knives, power armor, energy rifles, and grenades.

James has also received advanced training with the GP-12 Phased Pulse Rifle, the KZ-33 Type 33 Nekovalkyrja Service Pistol, and the Type 22 Survival Knife

Also as part of mandatory Star Army training, James is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. He is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.

This training encompasses up to and including algebra and trigonometry.

Learned from father before he joined the military, James can repair and maintain the standard equipment on starships, including mechs, vehicles, and weaponry.

James has been put through an intense training regimine, and is in absolutely perfect bodily condition.

James's training has encompassed all major survival skills, such as Finding water, land navigation, constructing shelter, hunting, signaling, and camouflage.
