Delanna is a humanoid shark like alien species, She has Shark-like skin with a white lower jaw, chest, stomach and inner thighs, the rest of her body has a beige colour to it with dark brown strips going across her arms, legs and back. Her hands and feet are webbed, with claws and no nails. Her body also has a tail that ends in a tail fin, the tip of the tail is at knee length and she can move it freely.

Delanna is 8ft tall and weights 100kg. She has the measurements of 36D-26-36.

Delanna's face is angled face with a slightly big muzzle, her nose was sensitive and at the tip of the muzzle, her jaw was strong and has sharp blade-like teeth, her ears are small holes on the side of her head. She has almond shaped eyes with deep purple iris.

Delanna has shoulder length dirty blonde hair, she normally keeps it up in a tight bun, but when she has it down, it is curly and slightly fluffy.

Delanna has two distinguishing features, she has gills, and a implant around her neck, this collar is a water filtration system that let's Delanna breathe without problem. The collar recycles the water constantly, but the water does need to be changed every week, with new filters added as well.

Delanna is a calm and friendly person who likes a joke or two, she is leveled headed and thinks things through before deciding what to do. She follows the rule that quality is better than anything else. She will try and help out anyone who comes to her seeking aid.

She also has a very bubbly and happy personally, she can be heard singing when relaxed, doing little dances as she walks and other things that just show she is a little childish still.

Delanna loves sweet things, as she has only tasted them when away from her home planet. She enjoys a lot of things Yamatai offers, but mostly she adores the clothing, Shoes and the food, all different and tasty.

Delanna Shanis was born in YE 16.

Delanna lived as Royalty on her homeworld, the world was pretty much completely salt water with a couple of islands dotted around. Her species evolved to live on the island to be safe from predators and had slowly adapted to become the alpha predator because of this.

The species made a large half floating, half on land where they made a great living, they became a more social and happy species. Her family became the leaders of this city, the family were beloved and helped everyone who came to ask for aid.

They helped with any dispute, endangerment and anything that needed them to intervene. This was until the sky ships came down and attacked their planet, the army wasn't prepared for this, their tribal weapons and armour did nothing against the pirates that attacked. The chieftain called everyone into the palace, his children Delanna and Salassa picked up weapons and stood at the door with the remaining forces of the army to protect the civilians.

As Delanna prepared to arract the first person to break down the front, she stood at the front of the army with her sister next to her. They readied their spears, but then Delanna heard something, the people outside where shooting at something. there was yelling in a language that she couldn't understand.

One of the civilian's started shouting about another sky ship that let loose people, the sky ship was fighting the one that came earlier. This news bolstered the troops that were with Delanna, she still was nervous, they didn't know if these were worst people than the ones who came before.

Delanna heard the fighting outside stop, she didn't let go of her readied spear as she looked at the door. She told the people with her to be ready for anything. As she waited there was a knock at the door, no one trying to break it down just knocks, with some unknown shouting.

Delanna went up to the door, she wanted to keep everyone else safe, she commanded the army to protect the civilians if anything happened to her as she unblocked and opened the palace door. In front of her was a giant metal thing with a huge weapon in its hands. She glare and tried to attack, she knew it was futile but she knew that she would die protecting her people.

When the Person didn't attack she stopped and looked at the person, she moved back and barred their path inside the palace. This was until her father put a hand on her shoulder and told her these people seem to of saved them and don't want to kill them. With this she moves back and her, Salassa and the army kneel for the people who saved them.

After everything was deemed safe, the city through a party for their rescuers, at this celebration, they handed the people necklaces of shells and precious stones. When the feast was done, Delanna and Salassa pledged themselves to the rescuers, they wanted to train with these people and learn how to keep their home world safe.

After much working through, they managed to get their desires across and the people accept their offer. On the travels back, the two girls learned enough common to get through conversations. Once in Yamataian space they offered themselves to the army, they trained, learned how to handle their Yamataian weapons, They learnt common and some Yamataian. They weren't fluent in either and messed up a little here and there.

They join the Yamataian Star Army and went in as soldiers. They keep up their work but split apart when they had to change ships, Salassa went around and stayed as a soldier, but Delanna rose through the ranks. She used what her father taught her of leadership and what she learnt from training to help her team and lead the strike squads on missions.

After a lot of hard work and dedication, she raised to the rank of chusa, she was excited and happy for this role.

Delanna Shanis is connected to: Her parents still live on her home planet, but her and her sister live with the Yamataian Star Army.

Delanna speaks Common and Yamataian, but still isn't a hundred percent fluent in both. Her home world language she is fluent in, but only ever uses it if she talks to people from her home world, or she thinks she is alone.

Delanna had trained in the ways of her people and she has added the fighting styles and weaponry of the Yamataian empire to her home style of fighting.

Delanna keeps herself fit and able, so she can keep up with her team and also so she can deal with opponents easier. She keeps up with workouts to bond with her team more. She also does this so when she gets home she can be a leader who fights with the army.

Delanna has been trained from childhood to be a leader, as she was the next in line to be chieftain. She used what she had learnt from her father to try and keep the line with her crew, she always takes a calm and friendly approach to talking to people.

Delanna knows how to survive in hostile environments. She can build shelters, hunt and forage for food, build a fire, etc. Delanna can camouflage herself and is familiar with guerilla warfare tactics.

Delanna fell in love with sweet treats that Yamatai offered, she loved them so much she ask to learn how to cook them. She had learnt while also training for the SA, she loved the treats and loved to baked them, she bakes for her team every so often and still does it, even though she is a high ranking member.

Delanna was raised in a culture were entertainment was a real big thing, she knows how to dance, sing and play the flute. While the SA she has learn more dances and a lot more songs to sing as well.
