- The Neshaten world of Levia (Planet) is struck by an asteroid, three hundred citizens are killed and two hundred and eighty-one military personnel are lost.
Yamatai
- Yamatai begins the year in a food shortage after the losses of the Battle of Yamatai. It is engaged in a large effort to recover its agricultural capacity.
- Anisa System sees many farms added.
- Project THOUGHT concludes combat against the Tachibana Clan at Nishitama. The Tachibana Incident continues to escalate as the YSS Sakura II Plot enters service. Said ship later defeats a Tachibana-alligned scout.
- Seventh Fleet deploys the YSS Densetsu and its forces to Xylar. Toushi Starfighter Squadron (7SF-01) is charged with infiltrating the captured star fortress to recover lost data.
- Proposal 88, The Marine Life Protection Act of YE 34, is passed by the Senate.
- YSS Aeon evacuates the survivors of Mayer Station
- The Yamatai Department of Education institutes the creation of Neko Gakuen or Neko Academies for the training of youngling Nekos *
- Kachimi (Victory) Park is opened at Teisenjou
- YSS Eucharis and her sister ships proceed stealthily to the outskirts of Rabaal System and inserts two stealth shuttles carrying 11 Eucharis crew members and 100 infantry troops, who board The Nest, a huge starbase that serves as the hub of the NMX.
- 32,000 orphans across the Empire gain needed attention when the educational city of Tsubomi is created on Yamatai. After many donations of money and materials, it starts accepting students and staff.

- Tamahagane Corporation Citadel (Nejiro) Tower open and the Tamahagane Corporation transfers their headquarters to it.
- YSS Yamatai, flagship of the Star Army of Yamatai's First Expeditionary Fleet is destroyed in the Battle of Rabaal System during the assault on NMX headquarters.
- Anakes recaptured by Tenth Fleet.
- Operation Kōzan is launched with the aim to recapture HX-13 is recaptured by the end of the year.
- Tenth Fleet administratively disbanded and reformed in the Yugumo Cluster.
- Task Force Lantern recaptures two of three stolen Yuuko-class gunboats from the IWL, and scuttles the third.
- YSS Eucharis sets up a small base in the Ether and mounts an unsuccessful attack on the last NMX cloning facility there.
