Build and Skin color: Slight build due to physical training. Lightly tanned.

Facial Features and Eye color: She is pretty to the eyes due to her soft and delicate features including a small nose middingly cheekbones, and innocent look that seems to come naturally to her that has not changed over the years. Her cupid bow lips are of a rosy pink.

Eyes are a slightly unusual hue of violet with a small tilt to them.

Hair color and Style: Hair is a light violet color, starting from the roots and gradually fades into a darker shade of blue ending at the tips. Her hair is now longer going to the middle of her back, and is straight, silky smooth and soft to the touch. Her bangs now frame her face but are kept in order to avoid any mess.

Distinguishing Features: After leaving Yamatai and the UOC both, Yuriko eventually ended up within Nepleslian Space. As a result and her desire to return to a life of front-line duty, Yuriko chose to downgrade to a Geshrin body and change her last name as per IPG requests. This was mostly to avoid any possible conflicts of interest as well as to allow Yuriko a new chance at life.

Personality: Over the years Yuriko has experienced many things that have broadened her horizons and causing her personality to evolve. She still retains the kind and determined disposition she had when she was younger only now it is tempered from experience. Yuriko now views most things around her with a question behind them. While she keeps these things to herself she will speak up if asked about her personal views or opinions on the matter. She's become more mature as time has continued onward but now inadvertently can be viewed as a little bit of a cynic that goes to hide a woman's feelings of being tired with most things and a sense of loneliness.

Yuriko was born late into the year YE 27 while her mother was on active duty during the waning days of the Xyainbor Campaign. Shortly after her birth, Yuriko's mother Yue was declared k.i.a. With no one to watch over her, Yuriko came into the care of and was eventually adopted by Ichigo Kakutama, a medical technician that served on board the same ship. By the middle of the year YE 28 she attended basic training. And in YE 29 entered active military duty.

Her first assignment came in YE 29, and was aboard the YSS Sakura the famous 1st XF gunship. During her first few days, the ill-fated “Battle of Taiie” was waged which became her trial by fire. She survived, and would soon participate in the Kimirthro operation. Some of the Sakura's crew was then abducted by Black Spiral, and left on a frozen moon, inside of a water processing plant. After a hellish struggle for survival, the encountered an army of zombie-like young men, with parasitic Mishhuvurthyar in them. Yuriko fought to protect the crew, even going back for Taisa Hanako through a room full of the Mishhu parasites, and now dead zombies.

They finally made it out alive, though fairly battered and bruised to be sure. Yuriko and her crewmates would then go to Lor for a bit of a vacation, to recuperate in peace. It was here that Yuriko, and Sakura Cherry became a couple. However, their peace was shattered with the arrival of Black Spiral, who seemed to be targeting Miles Gunn, The Sakura's doctor. After a brief firefight, Miles was safely returned to the Sakura where they attempted to treat him for radiation poisoning. The need to have him transferred to a new body arose, his Nepleslian one unable to cope with the Gamma Radiation induced by the teleportation of himself back aboard the gunship.

Things took a turn for the worse, Miles went out of control, and attacked the Sakura. He then abducted Taisa Hanako, and boarded a shuttle. Yuriko attempted to talk him down, but was unable to do so. In the end, Miles was killed by the ship's NIWS.

During the crew's departure from Lor, they encountered the SRSS Yggdrasill, and an unknown alien vessel. After a long while of talking, they eventually parted ways. However, one of the crew had been changed. She eventually took a shuttle and fled, heading towards Nepleslia. It was there that the Sakura's Taisa attempted to make contact with Black Spiral by using Elisa Metea (Deceased) as bait. It however did not work. Chaos ensued, Yuriko, left in charge of the Sakura while the crew was away monitored the situation from the bridge. It seemed a minor civil war had erupted on the planet, people rioting, ships fighing in orbit, and the like.

The crew's next assignment was a raid on Sfrarabla Mishhuvurthyar Xhrafuklurp (SMX) logistics centers south of the great southern nebula. The Sakura's target was a out of the way system known as Splorfin System. Where the Mishhuvurthyar had been storing food, water and supplies for their fleets. Things however did not go as planned. The Sakura was ambushed, and had to fight its way out. While the gunship fought for its survival, the vessel was boarded, and several ghost-type Mishhu infiltrated the vessel. The Mishhuvurthyar began to cause havoc amongst the crew who were resisting them. Two managed to get to the bridge in which Hanako, Yuriko, and Sakura Cherry were on. Yuriko and Sakura Cherry fought them, until the former sprite was entangled in one of the Mishhu's tentacles, while Yuriko ducked and dodged her way about, trying to Save Taisa Hanako from the Mishhuvurthyar attempting to sexually assault her. She finally managed to kill it, but the damage had been done, and she was unable to stop the Mishhu from completing its task. In the end the Sakura's NIWS was activated, and sent throughout the ship to dispatch them. Yuriko and her fellow crew mates survived, but sadly they had lost Jo Midori and several others. The Sakura managed to escape, but had taken a severe beating.

Yuriko's career flourished as she received a command of her own, this proved to be a major learning experience for her, and taught her to be a good commander. However, she resigned her commission within the Star Army of Yamatai to be with her children within the United Outer Colonies.

Throughout YE 33, Yuriko had made sure her family remained safely out of NMX hands as they invaded the worlds of the UOC. While the UOC was gone, her family and what tattered legacy of peaceful existence the UOC had stood for lives on with them. Inbetween finding ways of causing the NMX harm, Yuriko traveled around known space, something she'd wished to do for some time.

With the start of YE 34, Yuriko's journey across the stars had lost what little luster it had. Family safe, but with a war still crashing down around her, Yuriko wanted to get back into a uniform and serve. It was a means to an end for her as a national military had the resources and strength, a means to ensure that the threat of the Mishhuvruthyar's existence would no longer be a looming portent of doom. While Yamatai had been her first choice, a couple of chance encounters had persuaded her otherwise to which she promptly left the Empire for the second and last time.

Grand Admiral Vladimirus Corcyra, a man she'd met a couple of years back managed to pull some strings and get her admittance within the Marine Corps. After a lengthy investigation by IPG elements and with her agreement of 'downgrading' to a Geshrin form Yuriko underwent basic training to which she passed in almost less than half the time it took raw recruits. Quickly promoted as both a sign of competence, and past performance on the battlefield (Even though it was within the Empire), she was promoted to the rank of Private First Class and served a brief tenure drilling recruits upon the world of Francia at Outpost Frostbite before transference to the 1st Assault Fleet from the 2nd Assault Fleet.

Communication: Yuriko is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from others through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Yuriko is fluent in Trade, Abwehr; Lorath, Kutjamonhymo, Yamataigo, Nira'las, Saal'sari and Elysian including Freespacer Jargon/L33tspeak. She can speak and write all nine of these correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc.

Fighting: Yuriko received extensive hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols,energy rifles, knives, and power armor. She has also been studied, and trained in several different forms of martial arts making her skill-level comparable to that of an experienced Ketsurui Samurai. She is a veteran of powered armor, and conventional combat after years of near constant fighting.

Technology Operation: Yuriko is very proficient with operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information. She is also proficient in operating any computer system utilizing SAVTech Jane, and ACE OS systems. Furthermore, after years of computational experience and experimentation, Yuriko is also an expert hacker partly as a result from the teachings of several Freespacer friends.

Mathematics: Yuriko received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry. She has studied statistics, dimensional theory and quantum physics in depth. Yuriko has also added aetheric theory to her repertoire of mathematical studies.

Survival and Military: One of the main courses Yuriko took at the academy was survival training. She's adept at land navigation, and shelter construction. And has a nack for locating water and hunting when the need calls for it. Included are many urban survival tactics.

Culinary: Cooking is a skill Yuriko has fervently mastered. Though she shows a love for baking and preparing whole meals. She has also become extremely proficient in several styles of cooking, including Nepleslian, Yamataian, Elysian and Iromakuanhe cuisine.

Entertainment: Dancing is something it seemed Yuriko is very capable of. Particularly bellydancing when she showed an interest in it after reading about it. She is learning to play the violin and can now play it beautifully, despite instances of being stuck on a piece of complex music.

Maintenance and Repair: Since her time as Chief Engineer Yuriko has devoted sometime, and energy in this area, and has a fairly good understanding of KFY ship systems, able to repair them, and power armors as well. Yuriko has also become more than proficient at the manufacture and repair of Nepleslian vehicles, Power Armor and equipment.

Leadership: With her time as executive officer then captain, Yuriko is quite comfortable about issuing orders, being in command, and public speaking. She has also become a masterful tactician and strategist over the course of many long days of study and applying her knowledge to real use.

Starship Operation Since becoming an officer, and a ship captain, Yuriko has made it a priority to learn the ins and outs of starship operations. Long since discarding the title of amateur she has become masterful at starship navigation, piloting and control.

Engineering Naturally being able to repair, and maintain a starship's systems, and power armor, being able to design, and improve ship systems, and ship's themselves seemed only a natural step. Yuriko, after much study has become an expert in this area.
