The observation area of the Diplomat’s Resolve is a breathtaking space designed to immerse visitors in the vastness of space while providing an unparalleled view of the ship's trajectory. The entire front wall of the observation area is a seamless, reinforced transparent panel that extends from floor to ceiling and wall to wall, offering an unobstructed view of the cosmos ahead.

Around the bar, comfortable seating is arranged in a semi-circle, providing an inviting space for guests to sit, relax, and socialize. The seating is designed to accommodate a variety of species, with chairs and stools of different heights and sizes. For Naga and other species with unique body structures, there are specially designed seating options that offer the necessary support and comfort.

The lounge is serviced by a diverse team of Anthros and Robots, each carefully selected for their ability to cater to the unique needs of the ship's varied clientele. The Anthro staff are warm and personable, providing a welcoming presence and ensuring that guests feel at ease. The Robots, on the other hand, are sleek and efficient, equipped with advanced AI that allows them to quickly and accurately fulfill orders while maintaining a smooth and seamless service experience.

The bar itself is well-stocked with a wide range of beverages, from exotic alien concoctions to classic human drinks. The bartenders, whether Anthro or Robot, are skilled mixologists who take pride in crafting custom drinks tailored to the preferences of each guest. For those seeking non-alcoholic options, a variety of juices, teas, and other refreshments are also available.

The atmosphere in the lounge is carefully curated to promote relaxation and enjoyment. The Spa area was a brown color, and was kept at a warm temperature comfortable for all species there was a hot tub for people to relax in as well as a sauna. There were lights here, were indirect lights here, and kept at a color temperature of 3,350 K.

The Medical Center hosts a variety of the very best medical techniques and technology that money can buy. Much like in hospitals, each bed is separated into rooms where the doors can be opened and closed or remain in either state. This is for privacy requirements, the beds themselves are made with the patient’s physiology In mind as well. However, these rooms are primarily for rest and recovery. There were multiple AutoDocks for the major life-saving surgery. The medical stores also have Sealant Gel, and a few NDC Survival Bug Out Bag and Cache should the need arises.

The rooms are clean and free of bacteria and germs constantly, and with light sources that were the color temperature of 3,350 K. This allows those to not be blinded when they first open their eye.

There’s even an area for the synthetics where they can be repaired. Both are brightly lit, clean and sterile, ready to serve. Whether the patient is organic or synthetic, Human, Separa’shan, Elysian, clone with animal physiology or canned and androids it wouldn’t matter here, the medical staff will treat their patients with respect, and help them recover so that the patient whoever they may be can get back to their lives and their work.

Comfortable Waiting Area: Adjacent to the laundry machines is a comfortable waiting area. Crew members can relax here while waiting for their laundry to be completed. Cultural Touches: To honor the collaboration between the Mining Guild and Yugumo Corporation, the laundry facility incorporates design elements that reflect the aesthetics of both Corporations. This includes subtle decorations and symbols that represent the unique identity of each faction.

Similar to both Yugumo Corporation and Mining Guild ships, the Engineering section was located at the aft and bottom of the ship. It is also a multi-tiered section of the ship. Each tier ended in balcony shaped openings allowing for the viewing ⁷⁾ of lower levels and speak to those below. To the left and the right of the entrance way doors were work stations with terminals that show things like life support systems and things of that nature. It also houses storage tanks for water and several other systems related to the environmental and life support systems of the ship.

The second level, houses Kaminari Quantum Foam Generators and backup Tsuyosa Series Matter-Antimatter Reactor. These pieces of Yugumo Corporation were provided by the Yugumo Corporation, as part of the group agreement. Also on the second level, was a Fabrication section in a nook, for repairing needs.

This level houses the Mizu II Series - Nami II CDD Control Systems and the Yumeoibito Hyperspace Fold Drive as well as other critical systems of the craft. There are lockers for storing personal protective equipment, first-aid supplies, tools, and spare parts, and a locker and shower room (as well as emergency showers and eyewash stations). To navigate the levels there were lifts lead to the decks above and below in this compartment.

Based on the Yugumo Standard Fabrication and Factory Areas, using standard Yugumo Corporation Fabrication area. It includes Yugumo Fabrication Systems and a backup redundant Power System, for emergency use.

With all the features of the Yugumo Standard Cargo Bay, the cargo bays are truly massive and lined with wall-to-wall SSCC reefer containers for foodstuffs produced aboard which need to be kept at certain temperatures. There is also climate-controlled storage designated for livestock embryos, seeds, or both depending on the ship's configuration. Designated, secure storage space is set aside for the crew for their personal belongings.

To ensure the safety of the Corporate Diplomat during any potential emergencies, The Diplomat's Resolve is equipped with a highly secure and strategically designed escape route and shuttle bay. This dedicated area is crucial for providing the diplomat with a rapid and reliable means of evacuation if the need arises.

The escape route begins with a concealed and easily accessible entry point located within the Diplomatic Suite, ensuring that the diplomat can quickly reach it in an emergency. The passage is designed to be discreet, blending seamlessly with the ship's interior to avoid detection by unauthorized personnel or adversaries. It features reinforced walls and is equipped with advanced life support systems to maintain a safe environment during the evacuation process.

The route leads directly to the shuttle bay, which is a state-of-the-art facility specifically designed for high-priority evacuations. The shuttle bay houses a fleet of emergency shuttles, each equipped with the latest in stealth and defensive technology to ensure the diplomat's safety during extraction. These shuttles are maintained in a constant state of readiness, with pre-programmed flight paths and rapid launch capabilities to minimize response time.

The shuttle bay itself is fortified and shielded against external threats, with reinforced blast doors and secure access controls that prevent unauthorized entry. Inside, the shuttles are housed in individual bays that can be quickly accessed through automated systems, allowing for a swift departure. The bay is also equipped with a dedicated support team trained in emergency procedures, ready to assist with the rapid boarding and launch of the shuttles.

For additional security, the shuttle bay is equipped with advanced detection and countermeasures to protect against potential threats, such as incoming projectiles or hostile ships. These systems include active defense mechanisms, such as energy shields and electronic countermeasures, to ensure that the shuttles can safely navigate away from the ship.

In the event of an emergency, the escape route and shuttle bay work in concert to provide a seamless evacuation process. The diplomat can swiftly move from their quarters to the shuttle bay, where they can board a prepped shuttle and be launched to safety within minutes. The shuttles are designed for high-speed travel and can quickly reach a predetermined safe zone or rendezvous with a larger fleet if necessary.

The design of the escape route and shuttle bay reflects the Mining Guild's commitment to ensuring the highest level of safety and preparedness for their diplomatic missions. By providing a secure and efficient means of evacuation, The Diplomat's Resolve ensures that the Corporate Diplomat can maintain their safety and continue their vital work even in the face of unexpected challenges.

The Diplomat’s Resolve uses a primarily Durandium Alloy hull structure. All windows and viewports utilize Transparent Durandium. Similar to that used by the Misha-class Explorer

The Diplomat’s Resolve is equipped with the KAIMON-Super Gate suite with its included communications and sensor systems. It also has the uplink and PANTHEON/SYNC connect module. In addition to its KAIMON Kagami sensors, there are also a SachiTech Tech-Scanner available to the science officer. Auxiliary antenna arrays may be extended from the wings, along with the radiators, solar panels and Solar Sails.

Though always adequate, the emergency systems aboard the ship follows the 1C revisions

The ship is equipped with Yugumo Standard Emergency Systems. It has its own fire suppression system and Yugumo Standard Damage Control Alcoves to assist with the repair of damage to the ship.

Much like the Misha-class Explorer 1C and it also uses Yugumo Standard Armory, and Yugumo Standard Survival Lockers easily accessible at key points throughout the ship, all fully-stocked, for any emergency.

Scuba gear has been added to the ship's inventory for both recreation and emergency use. In the event of a catastrophic failure or impending doom, it is equipped with sixteen "Ikigai" Type 43 Escape Pod. In the event of a catastrophic failure or impending doom, the ship has three Ge-X3300 - Type 33 Escape Pods.

There are more than enough Yugumo Standard Damage Control Alcoves, Yugumo Standard First Aid Lockers, Yugumo Standard Armory, and Yugumo Standard Survival Lockers easily accessible at key points throughout the ship, all fully-stocked, for any emergency. They are available on the 1C and later revisions only.

The ship is equipped with Yugumo Standard Life Support Systems.

The ship uses Kaminari Quantum Foam Generators.

The Diplomat’s Resolve utilizes a modified Mizu II Series - Nami II CDD which maximizes the CDD performance at 18,000c. Distortion coils are located in the wing pods on both sides of the craft.

In addition to the CDD, the ship is equipped with two Hoshi III Series Multi-stage Turbo Plasma Drives⁸⁾ for sublight speed. They are located in the central region on the pylons on both wings. Sublight performance for this craft usually can withstand 0.30c. Maneuvering Thrusters (ion thrusters) are used primarily for attitude adjustment, docking, and station keeping.

For hyperspace fold, the ship uses the Yumeoibito Hyperspace Fold Drive. It also has an Anti-Gravity System for landing and atmospheric operations.

In the 1C, a Pump Jet⁹⁾ propulsion system was added for both above and below-the-surface marine operation of the ship. The ship utilizes two ballast tanks to control its buoyancy. Periscopic fin-like structures deploy from the underside and nacelle regions of the vessel when it touches down in the water. The Umikagami Subsurface Operations Suite option further enhances underwater capability.

Like the Misha-Class Explorer the Diplomat’s Resolve uses Mizu II Series - Nami II CDD is equipped with a (Civilian) Combined Field System, supplementary shields, and navigational shielding. The primary shields create a two-faced barrier.

For times when the Civilian-grade CFS is unavailable or its operation is undesirable such as when sitearium is energized. Running both supplementary defensive systems at the same time does not increase the effective tier of the barrier, rather, they are used against different threats, and the responding selected in real time after threat analysis by the computer. As the supplementary shields do not contribute to the ship's defensive profile when the (C)CFS is active, it is wasteful to have the supplementary shields active while the primary shields are as well.

Supplementary shielding is available on the 1C and later revisions only.

The Electromagnetic shields are particularly good at deflecting the charged particles in many beam weapons. The shield created is a two-faced barrier.

Gravitic shielding are effective against kinetic weaponry and collisions. This shield also serves the special purpose of counteracting graviton beams. The shield created is a two-faced barrier.

Not intended for, or effective at, defense against starship weaponry, navigational shielding protects the ship against navigational hazards, such as fast-moving small masses and slow collisions with large masses. The deflectors allow for safe maneuvering without raising the profile of its sensor signature as much as the defensive shielding.

As a civilian ship, the Yume no Kaseki armaments are based around point defense in its default configuration. The point-defense systems are pop-up/retractable so during non-combat situations they are enclosed beneath the hull plates. In its default configuration, it has six free On-Tier-Weapons¹⁰⁾ or Tier-Equivalent Weapons Groups slots.

The ship is armed with a Plasma Projection System array comprising various sizes of emitters. These also serve as secondary engines and maneuvering verniers, increasing the acceleration profile, maximum speed, and maneuverability of the ship. By redirecting power from the plasma system that powers the ship's propulsion, it may use up to two On-Tier-Weapons worth of its excess weapons limitation capacity to muster up the remaining Tier Equivalent Weapon Groups¹¹⁾ worth of firepower in variably-sized plasma cannons and smaller plasma guns by using magnetic direction to weaponize the ship's drive and maneuvering engine nozzle output. This negatively impacts the ships speed and maneuverability, however, the more power diverted from propulsion to weaponry. The effect is more and more pronounced the more free capacity that is used in this manner.
