The Glimmergold Star is a military award of the Star Army of Yamatai, Nepleslian Star Navy, and other military forces who participated in the Battle Of Glimmergold.

On 4日 1月 YE 43 (fourth day of the first month on the Yamataian Calendar), an international combined fleet joined forces with the Essai to launch one of the largest and most daring military assaults of their era: The Battle Of Glimmergold. Outnumbered, the fleet fought until the star system's computer-planets were destroyed, resulting in the collapse of the Kuvexian economy, the subsequent downfall of the Interstellar Kingdom Of Kuvexia and ending the Kuvexian War. Afterward, the Star Army created a special medal for those who participated in this legendary mission.

The requirements to receive this awards are:

• Physically went to the Glimmergold system and
  • engaged the Kuvexian forces in combat; or,
  • served on a ship that engaged the Kuvexian forces in combat

The award is issued by:

• Star Army Personnel Command or its equivalent in other military forces

The Glimmergold Star ribbon is mostly gold in color, with a thick blood red stripe in the center representing the blood spilled in the battle, and seven thin stripes on either side representing the seven planets targeted in the strike.

It is worn on the Type 35 Class A formal uniform (Yamatai) or the Nepleslian Dress Uniform (YE 33) (Nepleslia).
