Tsuruko is a genetically-tattooed Nekovalkyrja, Type 33, 5'5 in height and 99lbs in weight. Her skin is bronze-hued, streaked along the arms, legs and stomach by extended, bright red geometrical patterns; a genetic tattoo, clearly.

Her face is somewhat angular and well-defined, with deep-set, haunted-looking light blue eyes - almost luminescent. The oval head is framed by shoulder-length cherry blonde hair, slicked back over the blonde fur-covered, elongated ears, against the scalp and down her cranium. Not a single strand moves about. Red lines, about five centimetres wide, run down her cheeks and disappear below her neck, skilfully avoiding her small nose and perpetually frowning lips.

A slight smell of ozone, for one reason or another, always hangs around Tsuruko.

Her voice is low, almost a growl - not unpleasant, strictly speaking. Her enunciation is slow, carefully paced. Either pitch or pace seldom rise.

Perhaps the word that best describes Tsuruko is 'collected'. Whether 'arguing' with someone or in the midst of an engagement, one would be hard pressed to observe her panic or even just lose composure. That is not to say Tsuruko is heartless, far from it. When off-duty, she is capable of being fairly empathetic and, above all, open towards her perceived friends. Unless, of course, said friends happen to outrank her, in which case they tend to receive the military treatment, all the time, no matter what. Career aside, Tsuruko is an avid martial artist, opting to disable her would-be foes with merciless, tactical movements rather than brute force. For more or less similar reasons, the TA-14 easily finds its way into her favourite weapons list.

Tsuruko has a noted dislike for shenanigans on duty, and people who partake in them.

In the past, she has expressed a strong desire to command her own vessel.

Another interesting quirk of Tsuruko's is a strong fascination with the Ketsurui Samurai; their lifestyle, their traditions, to the point of trying to emulate the aforementioned.

Heihachiro Tsuruko was born in YE 38.

Heihachiro Tsuruko was created in YE 38, in one of many Ketsurui Zaibatsu facilities. Just one amidst the newest batch of Nekovalkyrja, she and her peers were quickly programmed and sent off to basic training, where she was noted for her stoic, stubborn demeanour and an affinity for hand-to-hand combat and, to a smaller degree, the Daisy M6 and KE-M2-4 Series MINDY personal combat armour suits. Done with her 98 days, she elected - and was eligible to undergo Space Infantry specialization training. This included space, forest, and urban survival, usage and handling of demolitions equipment, advanced weapons training and Type 33 Prefab Outpost Modules assembly.

Tsuruko is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. She is fluent in Trade (language) and (optionally) Yamataigo (邪馬台語). She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc.

Tsuruko received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program, in addition to a strong personal interest in martial arts. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, knives, and power armor.

Tsuruko is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.

Tsuruko received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry.

Tsuruko knows how to survive in hostile environments. She can build shelters, hunt and forage for food, build a fire, etc. Tsuruko can camouflage herself and is familiar with guerrilla warfare tactics.

Tsuruko can identify, manufacture, handle and dispose of explosives. With the proper tools, she can detect and disarm enemy explosives as well.
