Build and Skin Color: Iella has a slender build with a light skin tone. Even though she is really quite strong, it doesn't show too much in her body, though she does look physically fit.

Facial Features and Eye Color: Iella's eyes are bright green and round. They are the prominent feature on her face. She has high cheek bones, but they don't make her face look suken. Her jaw is square and her eyebrows are slender.

Hair Color and Style: Iella has long dark brown, straight hair that reaches just beyond her chest, which she takes pride in, though she knows well enough to keep it out of her face when in battle. When on duty she wears it up in a high ponytail, and out of the way. When off duty or relaxing she wears it down.

Distinguishing Features: Iella's eyes seem to help her stand out from the pack. The green seems to show her intensity and passion.

Personality: Passion is most likely the first word that would come to mind when trying to describe Iella. She is known to speak when she ought not to if she believes something needs to be said, and it often gets her in trouble. She fights for what she believes in and would do anything, including putting herself at risk to help her friends and ship mates. Iella believes that becoming too emotional is unprofessional, so tries to hide her emotions while on the job. When she does get emotional, it is most likely that she has something that needs to be said, and her intensity and passion come out the woodwork.

Iella does her job well, and isn't afraid to take risks. She is however, wary when it comes to trusting strangers. Once someone has her trust, she becomes one of the best allies a person could have. Iella is also weary of getting too close to people, especially men, as she knows nothing short of heartbreak when she gets too attached. Iella however, is the best friend a person could have, and when her barrier is broken, she is actually quite a nice woman.

Iella fervently searches for new knowledge and information, as she wants to be the best she can possibly be, to give the most to her crew mates and to her army. She learns all she can from new situation and tries to apply all of her experiences in her future choices. Iella prides herself on being able to anticipate moves the enemy might make, and isn't afraid to trust her instincts because of this.

Likes: A challenge, being useful, being efficient, a good drink, being victorious, sketching or painting, doing physical activity. Dislikes: Being cornered, letting her feelings show, being idle. Goals: To understand why she is the way she is, and try to fill her emptiness.

Aldor - Father Erisi - Mother

Iella's mother and father raised her to take great pride in Star Army of Yamatai, in fact you could even say they conditioned her to become one of its most valuable assets. Both of her parents had served in the military, and considered it one of their greatest accomplishments. It had affected their life so much, they they wanted to share their experience with their only child. They taught her skills that they felt would help her become a successful solider. Iella doesn't feel that she was brainwashed into wanting to help Yamatai. Every decision Iella and her parents made as she grew, was focused on making her a better solider.

Iella and her parents used to be Geshrin, but once the species started to become obsolete, the entire family switched over when Iella was about sixteen. Her parents always said that it didn't matter what body one was in, as long as they still had their soul. They also thought she would make a better soilder in a more enhanced body. Iella felt strange in a new body at first, but she quickly got used to it.

It was in Iella's first real preparations for the military where she made her first basic friendships. Of course none of her friends were quite on the same intense path as she was, but they shared the value system and were all headed towards the Star Army. In was in a Kalmonda, the eqivilant to a kick boxing class, when Iella was just a little girl that she met her two best friends in the world; Reylan and Mina Yidrath. The two were twins, and other than their similar futures, they couldn't be any different. Mina was the smart one, headed for either the science field or military intelligence. She was very level headed and kept Iella and Reylan from terrorizing the town too much. Reylan was much more like Iella and she considered him her greatest competition all the way through high school. She considered him one of the best pilots around. These friends were constantly challenging each other, and were considered the most likely in their town to become something in the Star Army.

As they grew, Reylan and Iella got closer, and eventually became a couple; a very competitive one at that. Iella would talk about their futures together both in and beyond the Star Army, and she knew that she had found her soul mate. The trio had already signed up for boot camp together and just had to finish the last bit of high school, when disaster struck. One of Reylan's favorite pastimes was scaring his sister with his daredevil flight tactics. Nobody knows quite what happened; the authorities speculated it was some type of systems malfunction, but the crash killed the twins instantly, and threw Iella's life into shambles. Instantly, she had lost the love of her life, her best friend and her greatest support system.

Iella went into a depressive state. Her grades in school started to fall and her health took a turn for the worst when she stopped eating. Not only had she given up on her life, but she had given up on the army as well. It wasn't until her parents scheduled a type of intervention that Iella started to get herself back on track. Iella realized that she had to live the dream for all of them, and that they would have been disappointed if she gave up now.

Iella finished high school, got herself into boot camp and finished with flying colors with the spirit of her friends with her always.

Iella is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from others through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. She is fluent in Nepleslian and Yamataian as well as a common knowledge of English. She can speak and write all three correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. She often, during boot camp, challenged herself to accurately and speedily finish all of her communication lessons in record time.

Iella has a great knowledge of all types of hand-to-hand combat. She started training when she was old enough to walk, and is considered deadly when it comes down to the physical stuff. She is skilled in many different type of martial arts that focus on throwing, defense and striking. She also received a rigorous training program when she went to boot camp, but there wasn't much left for her to learn. She was often selected as a demonstration leader. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, knives, and power armor.

Iella is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information. Iella likes working with the computer systems as it helps her take off the edge.

Iella received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry. However, mathematics is Iella's least favorite skill,as she could much rather shoot a gun than solve an algorithim. However, she can and will prove herself if needed.

Iella was smart enough to know that if everything in her life was about the military, she would eventually either crack under the pressure or simply burn out. To solve this problem, Iella took a basic painting class in high school and realized that she was actually quite good at art and it took the edge off when she was stressed out or too tired to think straight. She finds it relaxing, and can actually help her focus in the long run.

Iella's family was the type that believed in a connection to nature, and to know how to live off of the land if need be. She can survive when most people would not, and it helps her to track the enemy as well, as long as they are on a familiar terrain. Iella knows how to build makeshift shelters, find water and hunt. She is also skilled at concealing herself and covering her tracks if she needs to.

Iella's speed and agility is one of the reasons that she is so good at what she does. She feels free when her adrenaline is pumping and her heart is beating. She used to run through the woods in her home town, in order to feel the wind on her face. She loves to work out her frustrations with a punching bag. She can outrun most people and beings and can dodge well when it comes to close combat.
