The Integrated Decontamination System (IDSP) is subcomponent of the Autonomous Medical Treatment Center (AMTC) and became available in YE 31.
The IDS is used to decontaminate the AMTC units after they have been used to treat a patient.
The IDS cleans the following portions of the unit.
For units sold to the Star Army and Yamatai government agencies. The IAS uses a version of the Nodal System not unlike the Medbays on starships. The system is limited in that the it can only breakdown organic contaminents.
For units sold to civilian organizations and individuals the IAS uses a series of chemical disinfectants, and then the unit is wiped down to remove any chemical residue. The filters in the civilian models must be replaced when the system indicates, or at least once a year.
Replacement filters cost: 15 KS per set
