YSS Furontia, YK-C1-0004, was a Kisaki-class Starbase constructed in orbit above Hanako's World, by Ketsurui Fleet Yards for the use of the Scientific Studies Service in YE 31. It was commanded by Taiga Yanagi.
It was be the fourth Kisaki-class Starbase to be constructed.
Mission The Furontia mission was to support the Star Army of Yamatai in the Ketsurui Military Sector providing scientists and research facilities as well as allowing SAoY vessels to make use of the ship bays.
After the Battle of Hanako's Star, YSS Furontia was deliberately scuttled by its Star Army crew to prevent its capture and use by Kuvexian Forces.
