History and Background
In YE 45, Tetsuya Eitan (Airwin Caeyara) became fascinated with the natural beauty of the future home of his people in the Akina System. The mountain landscape of the near-southern polar region where the City of Taisho and the future City of Asarthotar is captivating, to say the least. Deep aquifers undergoing volcanic and geological processes have created a source of mineralized water perfect for commercial extraction and sale. Depending on the depth extraction, deep-level natural carbonation has been found as well giving the ability to extract a natural bubbling variety as well. Using the vast natural resources they had around them was key to the plan to rebuild their civilization.
Tetsuya Eitan (Airwin Caeyara) had water filtration and pump systems brought to the surface of Akina. Those installations would then be overhauled and reconstructed.
An immediate wholesale interest, in terms of the still water, extracted, would come from the Tokyo Brewing Company, as they sought groundwater sources for their Tokyo Brewing Company Beers.
Unya refers to “The Goddess Creator” in Nira'las.

Headquarters
The Headquarters of Unya Springs Water is located downtown City of Taisho in a rented small office building with a large light industrial warehouse attached where bottling occurs.
Facilities
Unya Springs Water taps the Taisho Mountain springs at several locations. The process of extraction and filtration on-site and tanker trucks are used to deliver water to the bottling warehouse.
The water is pumped from two positions in the aquifer column, the deepest one for the extraction of naturally carbonated mineral water. The carbonation is removed, the gas is filtered, and is then readded to the water. Still water, on the other hand, is extracted at a more shallow depth.
All water goes through a multi-stage filter of selective membranes developed through Leviathan Technology through osmosis. The biosynthetic membranes filter contaminants from the water which then are removed from the system.
