Cytari is a gorgeous Norian, she has a height of 175.26cm and weighs 62kg. She has mid-back length black hair and vibrant purple eyes that beautifully contrast with her pale skin tone. She tends to wear dark colored clothing in a variety of styles, but leans toward skin tight latex leather outfits or outsider influenced Tsenlanese civilian attire. She has a lithe, mesomorph body type which she keeps in shape through a rigorous physical regimen. When off duty she tends to wear her hair loose, although she always keeps hair ties on hand in case of an engineering emergency that would need it up out of the way. When on duty she always wears it up out of the way in a bun, french braid, or combination thereof.

Cytari is an ESTJ-T²⁾ personality type. She has a very warm social persona outside of work, though if on duty she can come off somewhat focused and closed off. This perception is due in part to her work ethic. When she is on-duty she is there to get the job done, not to make friends. Despite this she is very protective and nurturing for those who work under her, to a certain degree. She is a very take charge individual who strives to make things run smoothly, not matter the cost. As such she is a very on the spot flexible thinker, she believes this is the best way to solve problems no matter what their origin might be. Two things she strongly believes in are timeliness and honesty. She has been known to expect the same from those she works with and may become inwardly perturbed if lazy liars slither into her midst.

Cytari is not afraid to work hard or stand up for those who she is close to. She is particularly drawn to others who have a dark sense of humor and exhibit sarcasm in their language. In fact, this is one of the ways she is known to communicate with those she cares for. If she's got a nasty little pet name for you, odds are she likes you. She is a huge fan of the dark and macabre which comes through in some of her personal hobbies and interests.

Cytari Akhai was born on Telegath in 94 BYE to Kari Akhai and Xythen Cienori. Her birth occured during Pre-Contact - The Falcon Movement. A large part of her childhood was spent exploring and indulging her curiosities. Throughout the course of these excursions she picked up several useful skills: martial arts, survival, and engineering. This led her to eventually become a technical engineer at the rank of Aelol or the Star Army of Yamatai equivalent of Shoi. She was among the group of technicians that utilized translations of ancient texts left behind by the peoples that left behind the mysterious GATES.

Towards the end of the Pre-Contact - The Falcon Movement she had picked up a fascination with the knowledge of the ancients that drove her into volunteering for any tinkering that was available. In fact during the The Dysterian War she had contributed efforts towards a team of technicians that developed the weapons systems later used to drop nuclear weapons on the uprising Dysterian colony. Throughout the course of the Space Race and the Colonization of Ayenee she spent her time delving into perfecting technological engineering skills in the various technologies that were in development, in addition to those they had come to understand from ancient texts.

Under the then Norian Galactic Empire led by Adrin she was part of a group that facilitated the sharing of technology with the Yamatai Star Empire. This fostered a curiosity not just about her own people, but about what other beings were out there in the vast expanse of existence. While some of her family had immigrated to what would later become the Yamatai Star Empire after the events of the Chaos Hive War, she chose to stay behind, her loyalties to the Norian Galactic Empire overriding anything else. As things turned over to what became the Norian Continuum she was amongst a team of scientists as a technician sent to uncover a facility in the Vespen System in the Yirune Arm. Along with many others she found a fascination with mentions of another group of ancients known as the Umarian Astral Raquamothla, she happily volunteered her skills to delve further into this mystery.

Through these fantastical discoveries she became among the first to look into use of Asune techonologies, similar to those of Aether, among dormant Umarian leviathans. In fact she was one of the first to raise alarm about the potential consequences or proverbial red lights in regards to power sources being activated. When things took a turn for the worst she utilized her survival and combat skills to help save a group of survivors as the Continuum was forced out. During the evacuation she ran into Nara Akhai Drenai whom she would eventually find out was her half sister.

During the Void Wars she lost touch with her new found sibling as they took different paths. While Nara Akhai Drenai had gone to serve the Caeyara and Eitan Ysi, she had dove head first into technological applications for Leviathan and Asune technologies for the Continuum. When others were terrified of the creatures being sighted during attacks that followed, she developed an eerie fondness for them. Though she was was among few that hid her suspicions of the link between the Asune and these creatures, she did not refrain for her research. Instead of abandoning her work with the technology she became more cautious in her actions.

When the Norian Continuum became the Minatu Empire she like others became members of the Minatu Empire Royal Navy(MERN). It was at this point that her rank converted to Aelol, the Star Army of Yamatai equivalent of Shoi. Throughout the Craethel War and the Declaration of Null she served as a technician onboard the leviathan, becoming intimately familiar with their workings and developing leadership skills amongst her team. However, in YE 44 the Minatu Empire was overwhelmed by the Craethel onslaught and her team was put through its paces keeping the colony ships together as they fled to the Avaen Universe and again to the Kagami Galaxy in YE 44.

As Operation Fireplace was underway during the Arrival of the Norians she was amongst the effort to help the involved parties rescue survivors on the Arks. She was so inspired by the spirit of those exhibited in the response from the Star Army of Yamatai, Senti, New Dusk Conclave and crew of the ISS Sobek that she felt honor bound to repay this kindness in some way. Luna Soban was someone she had met during this time who directed her particularly to the Star Army Technician rating as one she might enjoy utilizing her talents in.

Where she would go was of a small debate as the Star Army of Yamatai passed a memorandum in YE 44.9 that allowed for the immediate and equivalent integration of MERN personnel into their ranks.³⁾ After she signed up she was swiftly assigned to the YSS Battle of Ayenee Capital City as a Star Army Technician at the rank of Shoi, the equivalent of what her rank as an Aelol with MERN. She underwent remote correspondence training as required per the memorandum⁴⁾ and delve head first into hands on learning. In YE 45 she completed the required correspondence courses for her occupation and rank. This freed up more time for her to further develop her knowledge and skills as a technician in the Star Army.

In mid-YE 45 after her training was complete, she took some much needed off time. This was not without reason as she used the time to attend her wedding to a long-time lover, her half-brother Vulre Akhai. After her leave came to an end she returned to the YSS Battle of Ayenee Capital City, always making sure to keep a strong connection with her husband whenever she could. In YE 46.2 she was reassigned to the YSS Yukika II as Chief Engineering Officer.
