TANTO VIRGINIA is a Target Neutralisation Outfit based on Virginia. As per SASO rules, it is based on the planet iself, is the only TANTO on the planet and its members are spread across classified safehouses in undisclosed locations. As per standards, its members all have decades of combat experience and are all purple-panels, even its Field Officer, the boots-on-the-ground leader. They do not know each others' identities or faces, which are obscured by means of volumetrics. When not on duties, its members pose as members of the public and lead separate lives under their false identities. They are not permitted to interact with each other outside of duties, any old colleagues inside the Star Army or elsewhere and are effectively ghosts.

TANTO VIRGINIA has a training house inside a nondescript government building on the planet, which includes a vast array of equipment of all kinds. In the basement is a fully stocked armory. TANTO VIRGINIA meet at random hours for training at the location, and at their individual safehouses.

TANTO VIRGINIA was created in YE 43 as part of the formation of Star Army Special Operations. It was created from the dissolution and reconstruction of various AEGIS, SDF, SPP, non-shipboard SOFT and other special forces into Target Neutralisation Outfits. It is likely unique in that each of its members came from a different one of these teams.

Below are the members of TANTO VIRGINIA, which have typical ranks and experience for a TANTO. Their designations are more to do with what that person spends the majority of their extra time doubling up on. All members of a TANTO are expected to perform whatever task may be required.
