Kessica is the name given to the habitable world located in the star system of the same name. It was originally a territory of Uesureyan Star Empire and used as a cloning planet before being taken by Mishhuvurthyar. In YE 45, it was retaken by joint Uesureyan and Yamataian forces.

Sometime before YE 45, it was a territory of Kitsurugi Uesu before being conquered by Mishhuvurthyar. The Uesureyan Empire held this world as a cloning planet, rife with bases and facilities where the Uesu Nekos trained and lived.

Following Taiyou Hoshi and the YSS Kaiyō II setting up good relations with Uesu on this mission, the Star Army of Yamatai aided in retaking a strategic cloning planet, Kessica in YE 45. The Mishhuvurthyar had captured it from for the Uesureyan Star Empire, but with the coordinated efforts of Task Force 282 and Uesureyans alike they were able to put the planet back in Uesureyan hands. In Uesureyan space, it is one of the closest planets galactically to Yamatai and was therefor an important foothold between the two Empires to secure for the Star Army of Yamatai.

The landing zone for the task force was in the tundra of the North where Enhanced Mishhuvurthyar were encountered for the first time by Star Army personnel. The fighting was more difficult than Mishhuvurthyar of the past as the new abilities of these foul vermin were unseen by the Task Force. But Emperor Uesu had warned operational commander Taiyou Hoshi that the fighting would be rough and they persevered through their initial push. ¹⁾

At the string of towns and outposts in the middle hemisphere the forces fighting for Uesureya were outnumbered more than two to one and the Mishhu forces were lined up with each outpost and town across from their enemies, waiting to overwhelm. But Taiyou Hoshi had set up a ploy in which their forces would retreat onto one location and jamming systems would prevent the Mishhuvurthyar from following. In one sole town, they won with their numbers and were able to punch through to their true destination- the capital city of Redan. ²⁾

In order for the reconquering of Kessica to really work, starships would need to give air support to the legion, but the Kessica Fields Starport in the southern part of Redan —controlled by Mishhuvurhtyar forces— would no doubt shoot them down. Scouts from the nights before had indicated that the underground facilities of the starport extended all the way below the city. So the Legion focused on the downtown area, but the enemy separated Taiyou Hoshi, Ketsurui Aiko, and William from their allies. Fighting against the Phantasm-type Nightmare alone, the trio fought tooth and nail while above their forces did the same against the many elite Enhanced Mishhuvurthyar units that had descended on them. But eventually the fight concluded with the Phantasm disintegrating and the trio releasing the anti aircraft guns.³⁾

Since rebuilding, statues of the battle have been erected in this square and atop the fountain. The fountain had at the time of battle been an access point to the underground facilities of Kessica Fields Starport, which was just south of the downtown area. Because getting the anti-aircraft guns offline in person had been such an important moment in retaking the planet, it has been memorialized.

Bases, cities, and forts exist on this planet as it is a cloning and training planet for Uesureyan and, in the past, NMX Neko. There are natural mineral deposits, but it is not a mining planet in the least. Uesureyu wanted to keep the natural splendor of the planet so that the Nekovalkyrja born here felt they were surrounded by beauty.

The pearly purples and blues of the atmosphere around the planet starkly contrast the yellows and sap green of the actual ground on the planet below the cloudy cover. There is one main continent with several biospheres but it is generally a cool planet with permanent Fall and Winter-like conditions.

The tip of the Northern region is mountainous and has tundra with orange and yellow groundcover that gets lightly dusted with snowfall. An old Mishhuvurthyar starport there has been converted back into a Uesureyan base.

In the more lush and verdant temperate zone just below are two towns and two outposts arranged in a line across the continent's hemisphere. The towns are primarily filled with cloning facilities, housing, and tall apartment complexes for the Nekovalkyrja living, training, and working on Kessica. Plenty of lush forests, lakes, and natural formations have been preserved in this area to give the Neko growing up here a strong tie to nature.

At the southern tip is the capital of the planet, a sprawling city with entrances from the North and Northeast. There are still many cloning facilities tucked into the city's borders, but there are also recreational activities such as shops and a downtown area. The streets there all pool into a central fountain area which became the final battle place for Kessica where the fighting reached its climax and conclusion.
