Oum IV (Previously known as UX-25 IV) is a Yamatai Star Empire world in the Oum System located just outside Ketsurui Military Sector. It has low gravity and a thin atmosphere that is generally cool but capable of deadly heat near the equator. Originally there were no trees, only moss and algae growth, but Yamatai has started to put more complex plant life on the planet in an effort to make it more suitable for colonization.

OOC: The Oum star system is named in honor of legendary worldbuilder and animator Monty Oum.

• During the First Mishhuvurthyar War, Scorpio Star Fortress was positioned in this system.
• Oum was occupied by the NMX during the Second Mishhuvurthyar War until August YE 34.
• In YE 36, the Yamatai Star Empire placed orbital communications networks of Emrys Satellites around all of the terrestrial planets and this planet became part of the PAINT public transportation system and has a Tenba that regularly visits and provides passenger flights to Scorpio Star Fortress and Shinjuku Starport on Hanako's World.
• In YE 37, the star system was named Oum.
• In YE 38, Trinary Star Shipping established a storefront at the PAINT station. This allowed colonists to use its services to have supplies delivered.
• In YE 43 the Yamatai Star Empire released its claim on the Oum star system.
