The Uesu Sector is an area of space that is counter-spinward to the Kikyo Sector (OOC: basically below the main Kikyo map).

During the Second Mishhuvurthyar War, Emperor of Yamatai Kitsurugi Uesu departed the Kikyo Sector in YE 30 with a massive fleet of loyal Nekovalkyrja known as the Uesu's Fleet and settled in the Uesu sector, only to be pursued by their enemies, the Mishhuvurthyar.

As each side sought out new worlds, resources, and places to build manufacturing plants, shipyards, and so on, they became embroiled in a brutal war known as the Uesureyan War.

In YE 45, the captured Uesureyan star system of Kessica was retaken by YSS Kaiyō II and Task Force 282. This was the first major joint mission against the Mishhuvurthyar between the restored Uesureyan Star Empire and the Yamatai Star Empire.
