Tenea is a gorgeous Norian female, she has a height of 175.26cm and weighs 65kg. Much like her younger twin Iare Drenai she has long green hair and vibrant blue eyes. Unlike her twin, she has gold specks around the pupil of both her eyes. Her figure is kept lithe, yet athletic thanks to a work out regiment she strictly adheres to. She prefers clothing that does not restrict her body movement, if she must wear them at all and absolutely refuses to wear anything pink.

Tenea is an ESFJ-A²⁾ personality type. She is extremely loyal to the Eitan Ysi, a trait that most if not all of the Drenai Ysi share. Her nature may come across to others as very warm and caring, yet sensitive to their needs. However, she tends not to let anyone into her inner circle until she knows them very well. Despite this she is quite social and makes friends very easily. She will often neglect her own needs to cater to those of her patients.

Tenea Drenai is the oldest in a set of twins born on Telegath in YE 20 to Naetha and Psirion Drenai. Her birth occurred in the last years of the Space Race and the Colonization of Ayenee. Her mother Naetha served in the Norian Continuum as a medic and was away for much of their early childhood. Her father Psirion was a local baker who specialized in creating delicious dishes with u'itholo. Most of Tenea's young life was spent running around helping her father with various daily tasks in the bakery. Though her mother may not have been around much in her childhood, she was fascinated by the stories that Naetha would tell about the medical adventures out in space.

In a way those stories that her mother told her set Tenea up for a future in medicine. When Tenea entered the realm of higher education she chose to attend medical school. Fairly early on in her medical learning she found drawn to surgery. She found that being able to help those in need at some of their most sensitive times was her calling in life. When she graduated from medical school she earned an extremely prestigious opportunity to further her studies under United Norian Navy Chief Medical Officer Jun Eitan. In YE 44 she found herself working with Jun on one of the arks, tending to survivors in grave need. Upon arrival to the Kagami Galaxy she devoted her skills towards getting injured children to safety. In the time that followed she worked with her sister Iare Drenai to provide medical care to wounded survivors. The two worked in tandem to treat and assess where care would be most effectively utilized.

When word got out in late YE 45 that remnants of the Norian Continuum survived, now thriving as the United Norian Imperium, she was absolutely elated. After conversation with her sister the Drenai twins began to turn over their medical tasks to local doctors who were keen on remaining in Tsenlan. In YE 46 she found herself together with her sister in Solitude for a brief unwinding before returning to their home in the Imperium. Things took an unexpected turn following the death of Tetsuya Eitan that led them to join up with crew awaiting the arrival of Adrin Eitan and The Alyelume.
