Personality: Plagued by psychological illness, Rosewood is prone to bouts of manic behavior as well as occasional bouts of violent or unpredictable behavior. Frequently, Rosewood's behavior favors immature outbursts with a generous helping of threatening behavior unless medicated. Rosewood's behavior is largely attributed to congenital defect caused by genetic flaw.

Likes: Copper, crystals, water, fish (for food), guns, scotch, clove cigarettes, candy, cold weather and temperatures, collecting old fashion keys, thunder and rain storms. Dislikes: Hot temperatures, dented, scratched, tarnished, rusted, and otherwise broken equipment, as well as defects to materials, primarily copper, loud music, unorganized items, files, or areas, and people shouting at him. Goals: Rosewood's primary personal goal is to function adequately in society while serving as a scientist and engineer for the purpose of pursuing personal interests in such fields.

Born on the year YE 05 on Planet Nepleslia to Marie and Tobias McCoy. Diagnosed with congenital defects shortly after birth, involving psychological disorders brought about by neurological malformations, likely caused by genetic mutation due to poorly executed genetic augmentation. During Rosewood's developmental years, his parents worked to ensure that he lived as comfortably as possible with his mental illness. Due to this commitment on the part of his parents, Rosewood's brother, Barrington, grew to dislike him due to the stress which he placed upon the family due to the demanding nature of his illness.

Beyond Rosewood's early developmental years, he began to manifest increasingly violent behavior, attributable to his psychological condition causing auditory hallucinations. During this period of Rosewood's life, he began to further strain his family's patience with his illness, as well as strain his relationship with his family, most specifically his brother due to his brother frequently being the target of his violent outbursts brought about by the voices in his head. Around this portion of Rosewood's life, frequently he was soothed by the presence of his father, who often sat with him while fidgeting with an antique timepiece encased in polished copper. With time, an association began to develop in Rosewood's mind relating polished copper to a condition of calm, focused, peace, a conditioned response which persisted well into his adulthood.

Over time, Rosewood began to develop proper cognitive maturity to permit a degree of control over his outbursts and behaviors brought on by his psychological condition, making a sizable progress during his adolescence. During Rosewood's teenage years, he discovered during the course of his schooling that he had a distinctive fondness for sciences, mathematics, and mechanical engineering. Rosewood chose to pursue his academic interests beyond his school years by taking work as an engineer.

Rosewood's work as an engineer eventually placed him in the employ of NovaCorp. While working for NovaCorp, Rosewood's fondness for his work allowed him to ignore his illness for long stretches of time, while being further aided by medical treatment. Eventually, during the course of Rosewood's service to NovaCorp, he was transferred to the Motoyoshi Fleet Yards branch of NovaCorp, resulting in a relocation to the Yugumo Cluster. During his employment, due to security concerns, he was encouraged to enlist in the United Outer Colony Peacekeeper Force, this enlistment was largely carried out for the purpose of permitting Rosewood access to Motoyoshi developed equipment while such materials were deployed in the field.

With the gradual collapse of the United Outer Colonies, Rosewood seeked an alternate employer which would provide him with a venue to continue his work in science and engineering, while also providing the oppertunity to use weapons, an activity which he found to be quite theraputic and enjoyable during his service in the Peacekeeper Force. Rosewood's search for employment resulted in his transfer from Peacekeeper service to the Lorath Self Defense Force, where he has been assigned to the LSDF Trishka.

Well versed in mathematic knowledge spanning from basic math to advanced calculus, Rosewood has taken a distinctive interest in mathematics, to the point of extending his study of the subject into the realm of theoretical equations.

With a natural fondness for machines and equipment, Rosewood has undergone extensive education in modern engineering techniques as well as traditional engineering techniques. Rosewood's knowledge of engineering spans across technologies historically used by Nepleslia, to modern systems used by the United Outer Colonies, the Lorath Matriarchy Matriarchy, and the United Manufacturing Cooperative.

Part of being raised on Nepleslia, Rosewood has obtained knowledgee of fighting through his developmental years, as well as receiving further training upon joining the Peacekeeper Forces, as well as the Lorath Self Defense Force. Rosewood's primary specialty in fighting is the use of firearms of various design.

Mainly focused upon physical sciences as well as quantum theory, Rosewood has devoted the majority of his scientific study to topics which focus upon the nature of the universe, instead of the nature of life. Though, while not a specialist in medicine, Rosewood has acquired a basic knowledge of medicine, reluctantly so due to a distinctive development of fears caused by knowing just what makes living things tick.

Building upon his fondness of machines, Rosewood has undergone extensive training in the use of modern technologies. Rosewood's familiarity with technology mainly focuses upon technologies used by Nepleslia, the Lorath Matriarchy, as well as the United Manufacturing Cooperative and affiliates.

In the interest of maintaining devices and equipment which he is so fond of, Rosewood has undergone extensive training in the field of maintenance and repair of machines, computers, vehicles, small arms, and various other forms of equipment fielded by modern space going societies.
