The Ketsurui Fleet Yards Ke-M2-W3902 Shoulder-Fired Scalar Machine Gun began manufacture in YE 39. It was developed to provide a shoulder mounted weapon similar to the Ke-M2-W3001 Shoulder-Mounted Aetheric Pulse Cannon but also be effective within atmosphere. It works on the same fundamental principles as the Ke-M2-W2913 Aether/Scalar Submachine Gun. However, it is designed to work with the Ke-M2 "Mindy" Series of Power Armor as a shoulder mounted heavy anti-personnel and light anti-armor weapon. It is attached to an arm that allows it to pivot and shoot at anything in front, above, or to the sides of the armor it is attached to. The arm is capable of rapid target tracking. It is also designed to interface smoothly into Armor Integrated Electronics System (AIES), allowing a user to designate targets and allow the suit's computer to take care of the actual firing. Due to its relatively high rate of fire and precision, it is effective in countering heavy swarms of missiles.
It resembles the Ke-M2-W2913 Aether/Scalar Submachine Gun without the grips and where the magazine would be is attached to a maneuverable arm. However, it is sleeker and designed to better integrate into the appearance of the overall armor as a regular part rather then as a optional attachment.
