At first glance, Aleksandra is a youthful, vital woman with above-average height, and a voluptuous figure fitting of a young mother. However, she moves with a surety and confidence of body language, and her eyes sparkle with wisdom and experience beyond her apparent years.

In truth, Aleksandra's body is a younger recreation of her original human body, now a Minkan reborn to fight for the Star Army. She has an oval face, with thin eyebrows above her large hazel eyes, which can shows depths of care or intense severity. Her nose is straight and rounded at the end, slightly upturned, and her lips are full and prone to gentle smiles. Her skin tone is tan, suggesting days of life under the sun, with soft smatterings of freckles over her body, especially on her face, shoulders, and arms. Her hair is shoulder length, and auburn in color, usually worn pulled back into a messy bun or ponytail, with bangs that sweep down to her eyebrows.

Aleksandra has a distinctive pear-shaped body, with smooth skin. Her full bust tapers to a strong, toned core, before flaring back out to wide hips, with a large rear and thick thighs to support her. She shoulders and arms are likewise defined, but lighter than her lower body. Altogether, she has a healthy athleticism to her form, with a light padding of fat around her waist, hips, and rear, as well as her generous bust.

Aleksandra's body is devoid of scars, wrinkles, or other marks, save for a band of lighter skin around the base of her left ring finger.

Aleksandra has a motherly aura, at once loving and gentle to those around her, but stern and harsh when the situation arises. She is quite protective of those close to her, and will dote on them and scold them in equal measure. She is quite friendly, and very physical, often going in for a hug when greeting or to show affection, giving light touches when chatting, and enjoying close contact with others in general.

Aleksandra embodies many of the old ways of her Kuznyetski blood as well. Her love of family and companionship leads her to make fast friendships which she maintains lovingly, seeing them more as adopted families in time. She enjoys cooking meaty foods, often old family recipes of stews and stir fry. Much like her Kuznek ancestors, she has an affinity for firearms of all kinds, but also developed a love for explosives during her time as a guerilla.

Aleksandra was initially hesitant to undergo the Soul Transfer to a Minkan body, but has since started to embrace her new form, seeing it as a rebirth of herself. She is full of youthful vigor since the transfer, and her outgoing and playful personality from her younger years has started to resurface, often at odds with her motherly and earthly experience.

Aleksandra doesn't speak of her time during the NMX occupation of Tami, and is worried that she bears some scars that may open old wounds, and does her best not to show it.

Aleksandra Voloshyn was born to Kuznyetski Nepleslian refugees, four years Pre-YE, on the planet Tami near Yamatai Star System. Her parents were part of a group fleeing the conflicts between the Reds and Greens, and founded a small farming colony on Tami. She was the eldest child of six, with three sisters and two brothers. Aleksandra had a peaceful, if rigorous, childhood, helping her family with their farm. She loved the woods and learned how to track and hunt early, becoming adept at navigating the woods near her home.

In YE 16, while she was traveling to Yamatai, Aleksandra met a young xenobiology researcher named Daisuke Takeda. The two fell in love and married later that year, and soon had their first child, a daughter named Natasha. The family lived on Yamatai for a few years before moving back to Aleksandra's family farm on Tami. In YE 18, they celebrated the birth of twins: a boy named Yukimura, and a girl named Tomoe.

Until YE 28, the family lived peacefully on their farm. Then the NMX attacked the planet. And the family was divided on whether to stay or leave. Aleksandra eventually made the decision to send Daisuke and the children to Yamatai, though she was unwilling to leave her home and stayed behind. When the NMX invaded and occupied Tami, Aleksandra organized and led guerilla elements of the civilian population and, together with the Ninth Fleet soldiers, led an effective resistance against the alien invaders until the planet was liberated in YE 31.

Aleksandra had been hardened by her years of fighting the alien invaders, but never spoke of her experiences during this time to anyone, pushing it all aside to rebuild the farm with her spouse and children in the years after. Her children grew, with her eldest Natasha enrolling at university in YE 34 to study her parent's field of xenobiology, followed by the twins studying in the fields of pharmaceuticals and agriculture in YE 36. The next year, Daisuke was asked to join the Star Army as a xenobiology specialist, and was assigned to the First Expeditionary Fleet. During this time, Aleksandra left the farm in the care of her relatives, living in an apartment on Yamatai to be near her children.

At the outset of the Kuvexian war, the terrible news that her spouse had been killed in action reached Aleksandra. Memories of the NMX invasion of her home returned to her, and she resolved to join the Star Army to fight this new threat to protect her children. She sold off her farm on Tami to her youngest brother before enlisting.

Though Aleksandra was quite fit for her age, easily passing basic training, during Ranger school she began to feel her years. While her survival and hunting skills were a cut above most of the others, her body couldn't take the harsh physical conditions placed on her, and she flunked out. After some reluctance to undergo the Soul Transfer procedure, she made the transfer to a Minkan body and reapplied for the Rangers, breezing through on the second try. She decided to return to her maiden name of Voloshyn to signify the rebirth she had undergone, and became a Ranger in YE 40.

In addition to the Star Army Common Skills, Aleksandra has the following skills:

• Orienteering, Survival, and Tracking: Aleksandra grew up in the woods of Tami, learning young how to track and hunt wild animals, and how to navigate the woods in all manner of conditions. These skills were tempered during the NMX occupation, where she hid from the enemy, set up ambushes, traps, and more. The Ranger training she received reinforced these skills.

• Sniping: Raised as a hunter, Aleksandra learned how to effectively use a rifle to hunt targets at long distances by the time she was 12. The NMX occupation honed this, making her a perfect fit for Scout-Sniper in the Rangers.

• Domestic: Aleksandra was raised as part of a large extended family and learned young the many responsibilities of farm work, household chores, and helped to raise younger family members. As a mother of three, she is also skilled with the care and chores that come with that. She also loves cooking and knows many old family recipes, mostly in the for of stews and stir-fries, and also enjoys experimenting with new recipes as well.
