Per SAoYregulations:

• Bridge must be manned at all times, except when the ship is in a friendly port.
• No portal into the ship shall be left open without a posted guard, except when the ship is in a friendly port. Until further notice, even when in a friendly port any open portal shall be guarded.
• The Combined Field System should only be deactivated for maintenance or when docking.
• Always use the most secure means of communication available.
