This page provides standard guidance for YSS Aeon crew members deploying on away teams.

• First officer will normally lead away mission, unless the Captain designates another individual. (Generally the Captain will remain on ship.)
• Away team leader will determine equipment required, eg, Army Multi-Species Environmental Suit (AMES), power armor, etc.
• All away team members must carry a Star Army Communicator, Type 29, unless in a power armor.
• Away team leaders should report in to the ship at regular intervals.
• Away teams should be monitored from the ship, checking sensor data and updates.

1. Decontamination procedures must be observed when returning from a foreign environment.
2. All used equipment should be cleaned and inspected before use again.
