Build and Skin Color: Rin has an elegant figure, away from extremes. Not thin, not big and burly, and definitely not fat. It’s all clean, flowing lines, with long toned legs and arms.

Facial Features and Eye Color: She has a heart-shaped face, complimented with medium-ish sized bright yellow eyes, with fairly sharp features.

Hair color and Style: Lavender colored hair. It is slightly wavy, and is mid-back length. Her hair seems to always have a moist quality to it, as if she just got out of the shower, so it's sort of clumped. It is usually kept down, nice and simple, although she'll wear it back in a ponytail if she's working, so as to not get it caught on something or let it get in the way or something.

Rin is slightly snobbish, looking down on low ranked individuals in the army, despite the fact that, since she is a sprite, that she is even lower than them. An exception to this are her fellow sprites. She tries to act ‘proper,’ with good manners, doing common courtesies, and being especially nice to people, etc. (unless, again, they’re low ranked). She is also vocal when something she disapproves of occurs. Her personality covers the relatively shy and unsure individual underneath.

It was just before the Bowhordia mission when Rin was created. A week had passed, the new sprite helping behind the scenes here and there, nothing too notable. During that week, however, the new sprite did quickly differentiate herself from the average, nondescript sprite.

After some helping with setting up equipment for the mission, Rin had a nervous wait on the Hoshi for the ground mission. Once there, she had a rather difficult time with her nerves while fighting the nekomachina. After a brief battle there, she was sent, along with the rest of what remained of the support team after some of them were transferred to the assault team, to help fix the Sekkou.

There, she was rather scarred by the horrific sight on the bridge, with mutilated corpses and an excess amount of blood everywhere. Tom Freeman then consoled her, telling her to look forward to happy moments in life. Those happy moments are made just that much better because she had seen the bad parts of life.

From there, Rin helped a bit with the battle with the impostor Eve. Then, she used the Aether Canceler to aid the others against a Mishhumachina and allowed Tom and Nimura to stop the imminent self-destruction of the base.

After the mission, Rin, along with the rest of the ground mission people, earned some leave. Of note are embarrassing moment with 'peeping' Tom and a shared bath with Masako, Yoroko, Shizuka and Akiko.

Rin is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Your character is fluent in Nepleslian, and Yamataian. She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. Rin, being a neko, can also send telepathic messages.

Rin is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.

She received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, knives, grenades, energy rifles and power armor.

Rin received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry

Being born with this knowledge, Rin can fix what needs to be fixed on a Star Army ship. Whether it be a shuttle, a power armor, ship sensors, whatever, if she has the tools and the parts, she can get it back to working condition. She may not be the best, but she'll get it back up and running.

Rin was created with a great singing voice, unfortunatly she doesn't know it. Even if she did, her bashful side wouldn't let her show it off, though she occasionally will hum or something quietly to herself when she thinks she's alone.

Rin knows basic first aid: bandaging, CPR, removal of foreign objects, etc. for occasions when she hurts herself when working. Of course, the basic first aid skills still come in handy in other situations.
