Kára Kurogane is a Nekovalkyrja Female Nekovalkyrja, Type 33A with pale skin, golden eyes, and black hair. She has five-fingered hands, Neko-style ears, and a feline tail. The fur on her tail and ears is black like her hair.

Kára's mother opted not to pre-program the her with basic military training, allowing her personality to develop freely. As she is a Youngling, her dominant traits right now are those innate to Nekovalkyrja: a sort of rambunctious, inquisitive, outgoing, fearless, loyal, physically-oriented girl full of bravado and energy. Her father has taught her the importance of staying calm, thinking through, and remaining impartial to exercise good judgement. She inherited a tendency to hyper-focus from her mother. Due to her upbringing she's internalized and synthesized a blend of Yamataian and NDC values.

Kára Kurogane was born on YE 43.5.4 in Ralt.

On reaching adulthood in mid YE 43, she moved to Koukotsu II, while attending Osman University remotely. The The Pine-Oaklen Family bought out her Star Army of Yamatai enlistment contract, pre-empting her obligation. In YE 44 she gained an acting, modeling, and idol contract with YTP Entertainment. When Takagawa Hitomi retired as a Senator, Kára ran and was elected as her replacement, largely on the fame that career brought¹⁾²⁾.
