Build and Skin Color: Xion'no is a short girl with a build to match. Years of keeping her head in the books has left her with a soft body that is more fitting for a scholar than a warrior. Her skin, already the normal light shade of her people, is left even paler from decades spent inside.

Facial Features and Eye Color: The lorath has a small round face with a slightly pointed chin. Piercing yellow eyes lay below a mess of bangs, topped with long, pointed, eyebrows.

Hair Color and Style: Xion'no's hair is dyed a light purple, white roots constantly showing on her scalp. The whole mess is haphazardly tied back into a long ponytail that rests on the upper back part of her head. Long bangs obscure part of her face, with stray strands being tucked away when needed.

Distinguishing Features: Like all Lorath, Xion'no possess a pair of black wings that reach down to her hips. They are usually kept close to her person and out of the way when she works or moves about.

Personality: Serious to a fault, Xion'no has little patience for stupid people or any she feels are disturbing her work. Most who approach her uninvited percieve her as short tempered and unwilling to socialize. But this is not, in general, due to a dislike of people. It's simply that people take up her time, a resource that she considers the most precious of all. She considers small-talk pointless and prefers to get to the heart of the conversation, leading to many thinking she just prefers not to talk to others at all. Her perpetually cranky attitude is nothing more than a side-effect of long, sleepless, nights as she works hard to find the answer to her latest question.

Yes, under the cynical person people often see her as, is simply a person singularly dedicated to her work above all else. That tired persona melts away when she speaks about her work and the normally grumpy Lorath becomes animated as she speaks about potentials and possibilties.

Likes: Work, Coffee, easy to wear clothing, Moonlight Purple Hair Dye, any food with high sugar content, intelligent partners, debate, beds with massive pillows on them. Dislikes: Small talk, people disturbing her work, morons, spicy food, cold things, being bored Goals: Xion'no's goal is everchanging. One thing, however, remains constant and that is the search for answers. She always wants to know why something works and once she has figured it out she quickly moves on to the next thing.

Xion'no was born on the year Pre YE 10 to a small family of little note. It was clear from her early life that the curiosity and drive to learn that is inherent to her caste was strong in her. Wherever she went she was always watching what others were doing, sometimes asking questions about how they achieved something or why. The girl consumed books faster than they could be given to her and by the age of 20 she stood out among her peers. When her family could no longer provide for her they sent her off to places where her curiosity may be sated.

For Xion'no leaving her home was the turning point of her life. Though she loved her family she felt she was being held back there and relished the opportunity to expand her horizons. But, once out of the care of her family, she was suddenly faced with the hardships of life. While she was blessed with great intellect she felt little desire to do anything with it beyond satisfying her own questions. This led to many stressful years were the demands of society repeatedly impeded her own work. Rent was always late and her diet suffered as she struggled to find and maintain work.

During this period of her life she withdrew further form the outside world, going outside only to get whatever supplies she needed or to go to whatever job she managed to get. It was because of this that she wasn't even aware of the attack on her planet until it was far too late. There was a shock-wave that even she could feel and destruction miles around. When she looked outside all she saw was chaos. The already dismal number of places willing to hire her plummeted even further. Things were looking bleak for the Lorath…

It was then that an opportunity presented itself. A chance to work with species she had never encountered, on a craft she had never flown on, doing work that was only somewhat distracting. Packing up her supplies the Lorath went out, that spark of curiosity help guiding her new path.

A constant thirst for knowledge drives Xion'no's every move. Throughout her life she has consumed numerous books on a wide variety of subjects from humanities to archaic technology. However, because of the wide range of her reading she has never truly mastered any particular subject. Once she knows enough and is satisfied she always moves on to the next subject.

A self proclaimed expert of all Lorath tech, Xion'no is always willing to display her abilities. She has become skilled in the use of most modern day technology and if there is anything she does not know she is always eager to learn. However, if she doesn't know how to work with something she will stubbornly insist that she does or has seen something similar enough to it.

More theoretical skill than actual skill. If someone is suffering from a bodily ailment Xion'no will try and guess what could possibly be affecting them. She has little actual medical practice though and she tends to think the worst when she sees a symptom.

Another theoretical skill. Xion'no's drive to understand more about the universe drove her to look into things at a much smaller level. While incapable of doing more than the most basic chemistry herself, Xion'no is able to explain -why- something is happening. Her advice in this subject is far greater than her medical knowledge, if a bit more textbook.

A skill that has been constantly honed since a young age due to her habit of tearing apart things in an attempt to see how they work. Though her attempts early in life usually left what she was repairing in a worse state than when she started, she has since become rather competent in the field. All simple electronics are child's play for her and if there is a manual around she would be willing to try repairing something more complicated.

An accidental skill acquired through curiosity. Xion'no, wondering how locks worked, studied them extensively and is now able to pick most of them if given enough time. She is also able to palm objects fairly well, a technique she learned when trying to figure out how a local magician worked his magic.

Xion'no has a knack for building devices but only out of things that already exist. She is more able to piece together different pieces of tech into something greater than it's parts but struggles when creating something truly new.
