Ekia's dark black skin, common to Sund Wakir, is brightened by the blue exoskeleton plates that run along her body, as all Iromakuanhe have. Her bright red eyes are a few shades lighter than her deep red hair. Ekia's hair is parted down the side and some loose pieces frame her face before the rest is swept up into one of two braids, though only a small portion of her hair is kept in these braids as the rest hangs freely. She is toned and has a strong body built for frame running and combat.

She prides herself on her knowledge of the workings of the military, though has little experience within it, only tertiary expertise by watching news and studying up. She is haughty and quite capable of holding grudges and making enemies faster than she makes friends, though she is taken with anyone in a military position and usually is more apt to keep them close rather than disregard them completely. She'll lovingly cajole and talk down to just about anything with a pulse, and at times seems incapable of being put in her place. She always accepts orders, though, and when in combat situations, if you're on her side, you're closer than family.

Born on Hlarai to a pair of poor parents, she was taken to learning all she could about the illustrious Astral Vanguard and the workings of the military of the Iruotl System. She helped her family make ends meet by being a gondolier throughout the canal cities and helped her family get fed that way. Ekia would make friends and lose them just as quickly and was often ostracized because of that. She turned to news networks and interfacing as an outlet for socialization, instead of the traditional methods.

Ekia has been extensively trained in both defensive and offensive hand-to-hand techniques as well as the use of several hand weapons, including knives, pistols, rifles, anti-tank weaponry and all types of explosives, including grenades. She should pass basic qualifications as a marksman with rifles at 150 meters and with pistols at 20 meters. She is in excellent physical form, with sufficiently high endurance to survive situations such as elevated G-forces and enough stamina for prolonged assaults.

Ekia has advanced comprehension and practical ability in the piloting of a Powered Frame unit, capable of flying under most conditions and operating all of the onboard weaponry safely and efficiently in combat scenarios. She can make complex battlefield maneuvers while under high stress and adjust her movements to compensate for all logical combat variables, such as gravity, weapons fire, atmospheric conditions, and more. She understands the basic functionality of her machine and can make basic repairs to certain subsystems.

Ekia has learned the essentials of tactics and command, but has not achieved the required level of mastery to put herself in a command position. However, he is capable of giving and following tactical orders quickly and efficiently in combat scenarios and can follow the command structure of her wing while under highly stressful conditions such as combat. She is capable of making use of the information given to her such as tactical maps, target statistics, marked targets, and more, and is capable of finding relevant information to send to the rest of his unit.

She has the ability to use NI systems aboard the Organoid-type Substructure craft employed by the Astral Vanguard. Ekia understands how to properly utilize her entry ports to interface with compatible systems.
