Squad Thirteen is the designation of a squad in the Star Army of Yamatai's Fifth Fleet. A fairly recently created unit, it is solely trained in the art of ground warfare. The Squad is part of the fleet's First Division, Fourth Company, Second Platoon. It has the callsign 'Unlucky' Squad, because its three immediate predecessors were all annihilated in combat.

Squad 13 is the main storyline for the Fifth Fleet, and takes place wherever the front lines are. The plot itself occurred in the Fifth Fleet subforum.

Posting requirements are at least one post a week from each player. GM Posts will be scheduled for Wednesday and Saturday, but may occur more frequently if players keep up. After a week of non-posting, player character will be sidelined, two weeks of no posting will have the character removed from the plot until the player returns, at which point they may or may not be re-introduced depending on where the plot is.
