Nomad Fear Module
The Fear module is an optional and installable component designed for the NAM Terratech Multi-Role Cavalry Armor-"Nomad" frame of powered armor in YE 43 and is fielded by The Military Corps of the Star Military of the Democratic Imperium of Nepleslia. The module is installed in the head and sensor hardpoint slot on the armor and when combined with the "Monoeye" Directional Sensor Suite creates a low-frequency wavelength that affects those the Nomad looks at directly; Triggering the fear aspect of the fight or flight response.

History
The fear module was originally designed as a proof of concept design by NAM in testing the capability to re-create and stimulate emotions in subjects such as fear, anger, confusion, etc. The design was semi-successful in the first aspect that it was able to trigger one side of a subject's fight or flight response but not the other. The design was shelved until it was later designed as an optional and installable component in the Nomad frame of powered armor.
Function and Design
The fear module works in tandem with a Nomads "Monoeye" Directional Sensor Suite and is a requirement for use. Using the monoeye as a point of reference the module projects a short-range wave of electronic signals that when picked up either biologically by a persons audio input such as their ears or ear analog or even by an audio system such as a speaker system it triggers an auditory response that forces the brain to prioritize the fear response of their biological flight-or-fight response.
The system is imperfect and only works in short-range and on targets that the monoeye is currently viewing. And while it works on audio-receptive electronic systems it has a reduced effect when not directly received such as by those listening with their ears and not a microphone system inside armor or vehicles.
The system can also be resisted slightly but never truly ignored or shrugged off due to training, drug use, biology, etc.
