The Ke-T8-W3101 was developed for use on the Ke-T8 "Kuma" Multi-role Shuttle and became available in YE 31.
It is similar to the Ke-M3-W2710 Mini-Missile Launcher Pods but carries a larger capacity and is intended for shuttle use only. It must be attached to a Ke-T8-W3104 Weapon Pod Mounts in order to be used on the Kuma.
The Ke-T8-W3101 was designed to give the Kuma increased offensive capabilities when missions called for it. The designers redesigned the Ke-M3-W2710 Mini-Missile Launcher Pods for use on a shuttle. They also gave it a larger payload capacity.
The Ke-T8-W3101 appears as a rounded cylinder with four missile tubes on the forward section.
