Gensou I is a planet in the Gensou System, which is part of the Yamatai Star Empire.

Gensou I was mapped and explored by the United Outer Colonies in YE 30. It is a frigid ice planet with ice-covered deep water oceans and an abundance of metals and minerals in its crust. In YE 42, the Yugumo Corporation determined that the resource-rich planet would be an ideal location for underwater mining colonies and have set a plan in motion to begin development in YE 43 or YE 44.

With the correct equipment this world is an adventure in waiting, Gensou I has a deep and rich underwater environment beneath the thick ice that encapsulates the surface of the planet. The entire planet is waiting to be explored, and it is unclear what life thrives in its deep cold oceans.

The Star Army of Yamatai established a "Guriddo" Defense System as part of the Gensou System Defense Plan laid out by Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko in YE 42. The system includes:

• 20 Ke-H5-W3200 "Kyouheki" Defense Platforms each typically controls two Ke-H5-M3200 "Nesuto" Docking Platforms, but can handle more.
