A unit with a modified loadout used by Pride Wing 2nd in Command Ueda Chikako, which was hastily equipped to suit the immediate needs of the ship's 5th mission. Ikazuchi no Yari is not specifically a name that Chikako gave the unit, but an impromptu title given to her unit so that she didn't feel out of place in the wing, using her favorite callsign, Ikazuchi, and the first weapon she could think of, being the classical yari polearm. Unlike her cohorts, Chikako doesn't fancy herself very good at naming things, so that fact that Ikazuchi no Yari even sounds vaguely cool is a point of pride.
