Within the Poku Saeruo Degonjo, the Council Members are a major force in directing the Galysumanâ'ai (Government) of the Clan. It is a prestigious position filled with responsibility. It is also an elected position; a person can be elected to represent their Jael (Sect), or they may be elected to represent their Rouka'ka (House). Note that only Major Houses have a seat on the Council. Two members of the Poku Vit (Plant Clan) hold this occupation and sit on the Council.

Individuals who are on the Local Government Councils of individual colonies or city states of the Sotâka Ruomâqi (World Station) also hold this occupation.
