The “Everburning Torch” is a welding and cutting tool made by Iemochi Innovations & Sales. It was designed for usage in metalworking, in particular structural engineering and emergency extrication. It also has uses in combat for breaking through armour plating without causing collateral damage or making much sound as standard weaponry would. It uses an Aether 'flame' in a similar way to the Turbo Aether Plasma Drive to generate incredible directed heat while avoiding the undirected area damage caused by standard Aetheric weaponry. It has a similar form factor to a standard box pistol or SMG.

The “Everyburning Torch” was designed in YE 44 by Iemochi Innovations & Sales. Iemochi Nagamura wanted to make a proprietary cutting/welding tool given the generic ones on the market seemed to only use traditional combustible gas, missing a lot of modern advancements. After some research into the best technologies to use which generate immense directed heat, an Aether-heated solution was devised and implemented. A civilian version without Aether technology was later created, after the Aetheric version was banned for civilian use as an “Aether weapon”.

The “Everburning Torch” is made of ADNR due to carbon's immense ability to withstand heat. The Torch resembles a box pistol or SMG - it comes in two sizes, a single-handed version and a two-handed version which is usable with one hand in a PA. The “box” includes the Aether generator which directs superheated Aether through the reinforced “barrel”. The “barrel” includes focusing shutters which can increase or decrease the surface area of the Aether torch, which subsequently changes its length and cutting power. A civilian version exists, which uses Turbo Plasma Drive technology. There is a covered power/data port under the “box” for remote or fine control, and to power external devices.

The “Everburning Torch” comes in all-black, all-silver, all-olive and all-neon-orange. It comes in two sizes - one handed and two handed. The two-handed version may be used in a power armour with one hand. It appears similar to a box pistol in one-handed form, or a box SMG in two-handed form. What would appear to be the magazine and magazine well is actually an Aether or Plasma generator. The barrel is fully enclosed with an aperture at the end which appears similar to a camera shutter. The Torch has a large, easy to use and pressure-sensitive trigger to control the aperture. Sometimes the barrel glows orange or white with the heat. There is a safety on the back similar to a gun's hammer, which needs to be in the 'cocked' position in order for the trigger to be loose.

The user points the device at the metal to be welded or cut. They 'cock' back the safety to allow the trigger to be pulled. The trigger is then gently squeezed depending on how wide or narrow (cold or hot) the torch should project its 'flame'. The more one squeezes, the narrower, longer and hotter the 'flame' is. The 'flame' is then moved to the contact point. No sparks or arcs are generated, but eyewear is advised due to how bright the material can glow white at times, as while it does not usually damage eyes it makes work hard to see in detail. Once the job is done, the trigger is released and the safety returned to the 'down' position.
