The Private Security of the Mining Guild is dressed to be professional and updated in YE 46

In the late stage of YE 41, Vilkas Kurosaki arrived at the newly formed New Dusk Conclave, located on the planet Sirris 4 within the Sanctum System. There, he reunited with his younger sisters, Astrid and Aeta Kurosaki, who, unlike Vilkas, were Nekovalkyrja twins. Vilkas had been separated from his family when the ship he was on malfunctioned, forcing him and a select group of humans, Anthro, and other aliens to split from the exodus fleet they were part of. Upon reuniting with his sisters, Vilkas learned that they had established the Mining Guild. As a protective older brother, he formed the Night Guard Security to safeguard the Mining Guild's starships, mining sites, personnel, and especially his sisters.

With his sisters' funding, Vilkas began reorganizing the Night Guard's uniforms. This effort aimed to replace the ragtag older outfits that were not suited to the specific needs of the Night Guard, particularly regarding durability and comfort during extended wear. Over the years, the uniform has been refined, with advances in fabric technology enhancing both durability and comfort. Early versions were made from basic cotton blends, but newer iterations utilize advanced moisture-wicking materials.

In YE 46, Astrid, the founder and CEO of the Mining Guild, requested a review of the Night Guard's operations. During this review, Vilkas noticed that an update to the uniforms was necessary, particularly for the winged and Separa'Shan members, whose unique physiological needs had not been adequately addressed in the current designs. Additionally, Vilkas observed that some of the younger members were attempting unauthorized customizations of their uniforms, indicating a desire for more personalized and functional attire.

Recognizing these issues, Vilkas decided to undertake a comprehensive redesign of the Night Guard uniforms. For the winged members, he introduced specialized modifications that allowed for unrestricted wing movement and added protective elements to prevent wear and tear during flight. For the Separa’shan members, the new design included flexible and durable materials that accommodated their serpentine lower bodies, ensuring both comfort and protection in various environments.

Furthermore, Vilkas addressed the younger members' desire for customization by incorporating modular components into the new uniforms. These components allowed for personalization while maintaining the professional appearance and functionality required for their duties. The updated uniforms featured advanced materials that improved durability, comfort, and practicality, ensuring that all members of the Night Guard were well-equipped to perform their roles effectively and safely.

The Night Guard uniforms are divided into two categories: standard rank uniforms and officer rank uniforms, with officer ranks starting at Captain and above. The two categories are significantly different in terms of color and design. Additionally, both categories include specialized uniforms for Separa’shan members, winged members, and Anthro members to accommodate their unique needs.
