Kael Dorain is a player character played by Zakalwe and is currently involved in the ECS Civetta di Cielo.

Build and Skin Colour: Kael, like all Plebeians, looks lean. This is not to say that he looks undernourished, or indeed weak, merely lean, wiry and somewhat light. However upon closer inspection it is obvious that his body is very compactly muscular despite its lightness - another characteristic feature of the Plebeian. His skin is chalk white.

Facial Features and Eye Colour: Kael's face is more sharply angular than the the majority of Plebeians, although it is certainly not an unattractive face. It increases the look of alieness, but is also etherealy handsome in its own way. His eyes are purest white.

Hair Colour and Style: Kael's hair is grey and he wears it in five shoulder length braids.

Distinguishing Features: Kael has two cresent tattoos encircling the bottom of his eyes, and another one on each cheek.

Personality: Kael is a rather detached individual, indeed he might seem cold to one who had just met him. However this is really a facade, or perhaps a shield, erected partially through experience and partially through training to protect him against the effect that the deaths which war must contain, and the limitations of his job, would have on his highly compassionate personality. However, upon growing to know someone, he tends to let down the facade and assuming a more fatherlike one instead - he does have a rather irritating habit of taking the high ground morally. He takes a keen interest in biological science, as do most Elysian medics, and also like most of them spends a lot of his free time tinkering with genetic models, designing theoretical organisms, and not so theoretical ones. Some might think this was 'playing God', Kael likes to think of it as something approaching worship. As with other Elysians Kael is highly devote, and is prone to spending at least an hour a day in prayer/meditation, which he finds is a magnificent stress reliever.

Yauael (Father) Rethael (Mother) Erenaen (Sister)

Kale was born in an agrarian area, with his parents working as house servants to the Patrician landlord. He had a good youth in general, his parents were called up in the most recent war and returned, almost miraculously, unscathed and in way of celebration conceived his sister - Erenaen. He did well, moving up into his constituencies college, and thrived under under its intense training, specializing in Medicine and Biology. At 18 he entered an Academy which was strong in medicine, and studied a combined course in Medicine and Biology - a seven year course. He entered the Elysian Celestial Navy at the age of 25, and after passing with a certain degree of success through basic training, and soon after his 26th Birthday he was given a placement as Medic on the ECS Civetta di Cielo.

Kael has extensive knowledge of medicine, stretching to a near on complete knowledge of Elysian anatomy. Even denied access to the advanced medical technology of Elysia he is capable of diagnosing a vast range of condition and can perform advanced surgery, field and otherwise. However he still prefers to use Elysian equipment which he is highly competent in using.

Kael's deep interest in biology, combined with his study of it throughout his education, has left him with an in depth knowledge of exobiology, Seraph biology and the manipulation of DNA.

Kael has undergone basic training with the Elysian Celestial Navy, and is proficient in the use of xiphos, aspis, phaelaes, pistols, rifles, flamethrowers, and other infantry weapons used by Elysia. He is also skilled in unarmed combat due to the Elysian love of Pankriaton, and he is trained in Zero-Gravity fighting. In addition to this he is capable of piloting the Hikael power armour with a high level of competence.

Kael is fluent in verbal and written Seraphim and English. He can effectively operate and communicate with radio equipment common to the Elysian military. He is telepathic and trained in its use, capable of communicating within 1.25 kilometres.

Kael's training in the scientific arts required a certain degree of mathematical proficiency. Kael actually went beyond this given a certain level of interest in the subject, his knowledge encompassing basic arithmetic, calculus, applied mathematics and touched upon quantum physics. Not that he pursued that one very far.

Kael underwent basic training during his education which was built upon by the ECN. During this he learnt the essentials of survival in a hostile environments; he can forage, hunt, find water, construct shelters, navigate and support himself in Elysia-like conditions. Furthermore he is proficient in Elysian signaling techniques and in camouflage.

Kael is blessed with an exceptionally good memory, verging on the eidetic, which allows him to absorb and catalog knowledge with surprising ease. In addition to this he has a deep knowledge of Elysian theology.

Kael Dorain is currently a Semeai in the Elysian Celestial Navy. He receives a weekly salary of -salary- per week.
