Build and Skin Color: Tall, broad-shouldered and wiry, Liam has a rock-solid build that is hard and muscular. Growing up working hard and playing hard, he is no stranger to strenuous physical activity. Liam has a dark complexion.

Eyes and Facial Features: Liam's facial features could be described as “classical”. His strong-jawed face is offset by the boyish look that a smile brings to his features. He has piercing eyes of the darkest brown, with a direct, intense stare and a thoughtful depth to his eyes.

Ears: Liam's ears are rounded and lay close to his skull. His earlobes are detached.

Hair Color and Style: Liam's hair is raven-black, straight, and worn short. He has long, squared sideburns that reach down almost to his jawline. He prefers to remain clean-shaven and does not maintain any facial hair.

Distinguishing Features: Liam has a scar, since healed, that runs from a quarter-centimeter below his right eye to roughly one centimeter above his jawline, gained after an accident in his later teenage years when taking part in a saber fighting class. His left arm from just below the elbow and hand are cybernetic, replacing his natural forearm and hand lost during a boarding action. Dark metallic color and shaped like the limb lost, many do not notice it at first glance.

Personality: Liam is a good-natured, outgoing fellow, easily meeting new people and spending time with friends and family. He is charming and is more than capable of being subtly manipulative, and while warmly extroverted does demonstrate some aspects of a deeply private side. He is an empathetic man and has no problem whatsoever with being the “shoulder a friend cries on”. He is good at his job as a soldier but takes no deep pleasure in the havoc or the killing. Soft-spoken and thoughtful with an intellectual side, he can discuss almost any topic and enjoys doing so.

Living relatives are his father Conal, his mother Victoria, and three younger siblings - brother Patrick, brother Michael and sister Andrea. His grandparents are all deceased except for his paternal grandfather, Harson Gervasius.

Born into a successful “Power” family with a long tradition as merchants and financiers, Liam Gervasius is the twenty-first generation of the House of Gervasius. During his childhood, he was driven to learn all he could and acquire a sound education. Likewise, he worked hard and played hard, being happier outdoors exploring and hunting than indoors except when enjoying a good book. It would be his love of books that gave him his interest to delve deeper into his studies.

As a boy, Liam built a life of scholarship and outdoorsmanship mixed with serious loves for reading, writing and drawing. He developed a healthy lifestyle where he enjoyed a self-imposed regimen of specific diet and physical activity. While physically active and very outgoing, he is likewise quiet and thoughtful. His friends and family will describe him as soft-spoken and gifted of a very imaginative mind.

At the age of 18, despite his parents hoping that he find another line of work, Liam joined the Nepleslian military where he found himself fitting in with the strict life and physically demanding work. Good with most weapons, he has acquired training as a sniper and recon specialist. Not ashamed to admit he is from a wealthy family, he likewise makes no bones about his decision to join the military. While he hopes to some day take up the family firm as a part of its long tradition he wants to first achieve a military career he can be proud of.

Having traveled as a boy with his father and uncles on several business trips, Liam had the opportunity to pick up on two other languages. He can speak and write in both Abwheran and Yamataigo. His grandfather, a retired naval officer, also taught him mind puzzles using cryptology. It was from this that Liam developed his hobby of writing out fictional codes, languages and such.

Approachable and charming, Liam knows how to get what he wants. He can be subtle and mysterious or warm and seductive as the situation needs. He loves to dance and is comfortable in a crowd, enjoying making friends and meeting new people. While he isn't one to sing, he is good at playing the Nepleslian lyre. No stranger to the potency of strong drink, he can hold more than his fair share of alcohol. He is not shy towards the ladies and frequently indulges in their intimate company.

Liam is a more than capable hand-to-hand fighter able to hold his own in a tight situation. He will use speed and agility to react on the fly to the actions of opponents larger or tougher. He also has developed a considerable skill for using the environment around him when needing advantage against someone else. He can operate a wide range of weapons and can fight with his hands, a blade, or a gun.

Despite his outdoorsman hobbies, Liam's parents also saw to it he got a good education, pressing him to work as hard at his studies as he did at his play and his chores. He has a knack for reading people's body language and mannerisms and telling a great deal about them even if few words are spoken. He can also read intent in body movements as he watches someone to tell what they may be planning to do. His amicable nature and charm allow him to talk to almost anybody.

Since he was a boy, Liam has loved history and has always been a trove of factoids and tidbits of knowledge from a myriad of sources.
