Personality: Damien is an extremely protective person. He cares a lot for his friends and those around him. He has a high sense of honor and dignity. He is slightly naive to the world around him with his strong idealism. It often blinds him to the dubious nature of some people around him.

Damien was born on Yamatai to Yamamoto and Cagilia Zhang. His father was a computer engineer while his mother was a dancer. Damien's father recieved a job to help build the colony of Anisha when Damien was 9 and they transferred there. On Anisha Damien and his parents discovered that te was a naturally talented athlete. Despite his athletic profeciency he preferred to study philosophy. His studies of philosophy really began to give him a sense of honor and duty to country. As Damien got older her decided that he wanted to take up arms and protect and uphold the virtues of the Star Army of Yamatai and become a Warrior Poet of sorts.

Despite his father wanting him to go into the computer field like him or his mother's desire to take up athletics, Damien enlisted in the Army. While Damien did well in basic training through his own discipline and athletic skills, his own virtues often clashed with military needs. While he wasn't disobedient, his commanders didn't appreciate his idealism when it came to carrying out certain orders.

Seen as too much of a freethinker for the regular army, Damien was transferred to Squad XIII when there was word that the “Unlucky” squad needed new members.

Damien is familiar with basic radio SOPs. He can use military equipment effectively and maintain said equipment in the field. Damien is fluent in Yamataian and Nepleslian. He can effectively fill out all necessary paperwork.

Damien received hand-to-hand combat training at Fort Ready. He is a proficient marksman and did quite well in Zero-gravity combat.

Damien has a love for computer science and considered following his father as a computer designer. He has a working knowledge of most OS systems and can navigate and use them effectively.

Damien got high marks in his military theory courses. His personal discipline level allowed him an easy adaption into military life. He has a good understanding of military traditions and values.

Damien has a basic understand of algebra and trigonometry as required for all star army personal.

Damien is an extremely fast runner. He was a track star back in school and has a lot of speed and agility for his size.

Damien has a strong sense of idealism and personal accountability. He spends his free time asking questions about how and why things are the way that they are. He works to find his place in the universe and do right by the others around him.
