Rio comes in just under five foot and five inches, with slanted green eyes and a blue skin tone. She has shoulder length black hair that is pinned up with a barrette in a style that faintly resembles a bird tail. The fur on her ears and tail shares the same coloration as her hair. She has a somewhat rounded face with slightly turned up nose and a small mouth.

Like other manufactured Nekos, she has her serial number on the bottom of her right foot.

Rio is gentle and reserved, with a keen and inquisitive mind. Quiet and respectful, Rio is rarely the one to initiate or intrude on a conversation unless she feels it is necessary. She has a love for history and learning in general, thoroughly enjoying every chance she has to learn or document something new.

Rio has found that humming helps her concentrate on the task at hand and that looking out of windows or view ports has a relaxing effect.
