Shifuda Kuriko is a Player Character played by mizunoyoroko and is currently involved in the YSS Senbu.

Star Army Caretaker - Pre-RP (during the Fort Ready plot while an NPC, as well as the first joint mission between the Senbu and Ft. Ready).

Infantry - Current Kuriko was reassigned an infantry position shortly after joining the Senbu's crew.

Notes: While Kuriko is technically infantry, her skillset matches a Star Army Caretaker due to previous training. She is basically not the best pilot out there in an armor, of course she's learning to be better.

Build and Skin Colour: Kuriko is very short in stature as well as exceedingly thin, perhaps the best way to physically describe her would be 'petite'. Because of her build, Kuriko looks very fragile, however as she is a Nekovalkyrja it only goes so far as appearance. Kuriko's skin is a natural cream color though.

Facial Features and Eye Colour: Kuriko has an average shaped face. She has long eyelashes and her eyebrows are well defined, but not bushy. Kuriko has a pair of small black eyes and a small nose.

Hair Colour and Style: Kuriko has long black hair that reaches the small of her back. Kuriko does not do her hair up in anyway, although she does take care of it.

Distinguishing Features: Other than Kuriko's small stature, and her affinity to wearing unneeded eyewear Kuriko has no distinguishing features.

Personality: Kuriko loves the fields of psychology and sociology. She is greatly interested in the bonds created between beings as they grow and emotionally mature. Kuriko takes a psychologists approach to many situations. For instance, many famous and effective psychologists wore glasses, Kuriko feels that by emulating their habit of wearing the distinctive eyewear she allows herself to not only be able to think like she believes they though, but also present herself as a more professional person. Kuriko loves to socialize, almost to a fault. Often times, this leads Kuriko to be percieved as 'chatty', occasionally Kuriko get's so involved in the conversation that she often forgets things like social ettiquette and physical boundaries (such as space bubbles).

After being produced Kuriko was immediatly sent to Fort Ready for the accelerated training program. While there Kuriko met lots of new people, and started to develop as a person herself. Kuriko wasn't the best student there, however she performed well enough to get by. Kuriko was hopeful when she first stepped on the shuttle to the YSS Takemitsu for ship based training. However that hope was washed away as the Takemitsu rode the Aether waves during the destruction of Nataria shipyards. After a bit of silence Erika Koyame, commander of the Takemitsu ordered the recruits to go out and attempt to make minor repairs to the hull. Like most recruits, Kuriko wasn't sure she was really qualified to be making such repairs to a starship, however she did as she was ordered anyway. After a while the YSS Senbu, and Anri class deep space repair vessel, answered the Takemitsu's distress call. The recruits were temporarily transferred over to the gargantuam Senbu while the Takemitsu underwent repairs. Just as Kuriko arrived she recieved an order telling her there was an immenent pirate attack, telling her to suit up in one of the Senbu's armor bays, and that she would be under the command of the Senbu temporarily.

As fast as they could, Kuriko and a few other recruits rushed down to the armor bay and launched. During the combat, Kuriko locked on to a specific foe and fought him exclusivly until he was defeated. Unlike nekos born to be infantry, who seem to possess additional innate skill with armors, Kuriko's limits were pushed to their maximum. After defeating her opponent Kuriko started to move toward the rest of the pilots, in an effort to assist, when suddenly the ruined Irim ship that Maya Hirahara began to explode. Kuriko had met Maya during her training at Fort Ready, and had become attached to the recruit in the brief amount of time that they had been together. Kuriko was pretty worried when the ship exploded, almost to the point of tears. As soon as the explosion had cleared Kuriko rushed in and found Kail Tarrim, the armor instructor from the Fort who had also been dispatched with the group, on top of Maya.

The two pilot's wounds looked grave, Kail was missing all of her limbs and Maya her right arm. Kuriko and another neko rushed the pair to the med bay aboard the Senbu. Kuriko stayed in the med bay as long as she could before one of the nurses escorted her out. After that, Kuriko made her way to the briefing ampitheater where the debriefing was to occur. During the debriefing Kuriko recieved a Service Award for her actions in the combat, as well as a promotion to Nito-Hei.

After Ft. Ready Kuriko was assigned to the YSS Senbu, her first non-training starship.

After having been assigned to the Pride Wing, Kuriko and her new teammates were launched to investigate wreckage caused by the pirate Vampire-Class ship. There were life-signs detected aboard the vessel but they were quickly fading. The Pride Wing wasted no time in launching to their aid.

On the way to the crashed vessel the Pride Wing discovered that their communications with the Senbu had been cut off due to the ambient radiation of the destroyed ships in the area and decided to proceed normally. As they were opening the exterior hatch to the ship with life-signs aboard it, 2 AIR2 Power armors moved in to attack the unit. Kuriko and Maya covered Mizu's back as she worked on opening the door, and though they were unable to destroy or even damage the enemy armors significantly the managed to make it safely inside the ship. After what they thought was a successful escape however, came the realization that the AIR power armors were barricading them inside the ship, which worried Kuriko more than a little bit.

Deciding there was nothing else they could do the Pride Wing went about searching the vessel for the life-signs that they had detected previously. All throughout the ship bodies and blood lined the walls. They seemed to come from everywhere and had weapons of all types as well, but nothing could be found about who they were. Finally Kuriko and Maya stumbled upon the two faint lifesigns, a Nepleslian and a Yamataian, both of which were dying quickly. Thinking quickly Kuriko exited her armor and cut her arm with a nearby piece of metal and applied her blood to the wounds of the two men.

The pair then rushed the men down to Mizu who was waiting in the shuttle bay for the pair. After shooting a whole into the bay door the group exited the bay in a nearby T2(?) transport shuttle, which immediatly came under fire from the two AIR2 power armors.

Just when it seemed like they were doomed, Gold Wing came from nowhere and blew the armors to bits, creating an escape for the Pride Wing.

Once back aboard the Senbu, the Pride Wing learned that several members of the Gold Wing had been shot up pretty badly, including Akira-Shoi who Kuriko had started to develop a liking for, and were in intensive care in the Medbay of the Senbu.

Kuriko is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Kuriko is fluent in Nepleslian, and Yamataian. She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc.

Kuriko received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, knives, and power armor.

Kuriko is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.

Kuriko received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry.

As a Star Army Caretaker, Kuriko takes pride in the fact that her job is to maintain the well being of the crew. Kuriko has been instructed in the fields of both psychology and sociology. Kuriko is capable of identifying common mental illnesses, as well as serving as a counselor for those who need to relieve stress or need advice.

Kuriko loves to study about psychology and sociology. Not only are they her primary fields of work, but they are her love. Because of constant study, Kuriko knows a lot of psychological and sociological theory and history.

Kuriko likes to sing, and although she isn't the best singer out there she feels a sense of satisfaction when she does sing.
