Astridr is a Nekovalkyrja, Type 33. She stands at 5 foot 3 inches tall (1.6 meters). She has a heart-shaped face and lightly tanned skin, with slightly pouty lips and round golden-yellow eyes. She has pinkish-red hair that is cut into a short messy bob, with longer strands of hair that fall in front of her ears, sometimes braided. Her ears are cat-like and covered with pinkish-red fur, extending from the sides of her head. A cat-like tail extends from her back above her rear, covered in pinkish-red fur.

Astridr has small white tiger stripe tattoos: two on each cheek that extend from her jaw and end in points at the middle of her cheeks, and four that end in points a quarter of an inch from her hairline. Her hips are uncommonly wide for a neko, and her breasts are larger than average. She has no body hair, and her SPINE interface is visible as a series of pink dots on her back.

Astridr is a quiet, shy sort who prefers to keep to herself. She finds solace in working on technology of all kinds, and dislikes large crowds and wide-open spaces. She feels more at home in a starship or other enclosed space, and has taken a special liking to being encased inside power armor, which she describes as feeling like “a comforting blanket”. She enjoys tinkering with machines and tech, whether it is just to understand how things work or to figure out improvements or modifications that can be made. She is methodical and calculating, and approaches new challenges eagerly and with a certain single-mindedness.

Astridr is young and fresh and feels like she is still discovering herself. She is curious about herself and others, despite her shyness. She enjoys exploring new experiences and is slowly coming out of her shell. She is envious of those who can feel carefree and jovial, but feels like she has to put duty to the military over her own feelings.

Astridr Shigefumi was born in YE 38. She entered into the military, following her mother's footsteps, where she developed an affinity for machines and technology.
