Hrist Asgeir

Hrist Asgeir is an NPC controlled by GM Damaske who appears in the ISS Sobek plot.

Character Description

Hrist appears to be an average NH-29 Nekovalkyrja, that is to say an attractive, slender human female with distinctive cat ears, three-fingered hands and four-toed feet with no nails. The ends of her fingers are slightly tacky and she walks gracefully with her weight centered near the front of her feet. Hrist is 155cm (5ft 1in) tall and weighs 39kg (86 lbs). She has a sharp-featured face with angled chin and a narrow mouth. Hrist has smooth, pale pink skin with no body hair beyond her eyebrows and long, straight, raven black hair that reaches to her waist and is normally kept tied back out of her face with a length of coloured cloth. Hrist has cadmium yellow eyes with flecks of gold and white throughout. Her measurements are 29-24-32 and she wears a 32B size bra.

Hrist is the sneakiest of the Asgeir sisters and is an avid fan of 'asset acquisition', which is to say that she has a touch of kleptomania about her. Hrist has a love of the dark and enjoys lurking in shadows when given the choice. A bit of a practical joker and particularly light-footed, she enjoys sneaking up on people and giving them a jump scare and possible relieving them of any loose possessions on their person while she is at it. Hrist can be highly methodical and is a good planner when motivated to do so. Her sisters have sometimes had to bust her out of trouble when she has gotten caught. Once in 'battle mode' she is coldly efficient and a highly competent starship gunner.

Hrist can often be found engaging in small acts of dexterity while idle, such as flicking a coin or card between her fingers.

The Asgeir sisters were grown aboard a NMX Battle Carrier, the XSS Uhngetal in YE 38. Originally a dozen in number, the Asgeir batch of NMX nekovalkyrja were assigned as the gunnery crew following a manpower shortage aboard the carrier after a number of running battles and boarding actions. Hrist would, in her limited free time, try to sneak around the ship and see what was to be seen, but was rarely successful. When the XSS Uhngetal was destroyed in Kuvexian Space in YE 42, Hrist was saved by her older sister Eir, for which she is grateful.

Although saddened by the further loss of her sisters, Hrist continued to follow Eir on the search for a new home. She would often act as a pickpocket or thief, making sure that her sisters always had enough to eat and drink. After reaching Sood Zadra, Hrist continued developing her asset acquisition skills.

By YE 45, the group was ready to move on and Hrist continued to ply her trade of choice while the sisters sought a ship that could employ the group in their preferred capacity of gunners. Hrist didn't really care that Kara named the group the Superior, Independent, Nekovalkyrja GunnERy Squad, or SINGERS for short. Nor was she bothered by Eir's decision to forbid Kara from ever naming anything ever again.
