Developed in YE 41 for the NAM Assault Shotcannon ASC-01a, NAM's 30mm Buck and Ball ammunition is a gloriously unrefined and direct piece of ammunition, a new gift for all the good little marines and marine-ettes who might get to use it. Essentially a short 8 cm long shell, the 30mm buck and ball combines 60 Nerimium pellets with a 5kg Nerimium slug.

30mm Buck and Ball is a big, meaty round.

• Tier (Pellets): Tier 4, Light Anti-Armor
• Tier (Slug): Tier 6, Heavy Anti-Armor
• Length: 8cm
• Caliber: 30mm
• Damage Description: Heavy pitting, scoring, and flesh tearing from the pellets. The slug has a habit of leaving crates and smashed things in its wake.
• Effective Range: 100 Meters before dissipation falls off for the pellets, 500 meters for the slug.
• Projectile Spread Angle: 60 degrees.
• Muzzle Velocity: 2,000 meters per second in atmosphere, 5,000 meters per second in space.
• Muzzle Blast: No actually muzzle blast from the round itself, but the method of firing produces a distinctive spurt of brilliant white plasma and swirling gasses.
• Recoil: Heavy. Do not try to rig up a way to fire this unarmored and then do it. You will die.
