Characters in the SARPiverse can travel to places in a number of ways.

To travel between worlds, characters typically ride as a passenger aboard a starship. As long as the destination isn't too far away, it's also possible to travel by small craft such as a shuttle craft, starfighter, or even an escape pod.

There are some shortcuts available such as wormholes and wormhole gateways.

Most worlds of the Yamatai Star Empire have service on their interplanetary public transportation system, PAINT.

To get around planets, characters will likely use some combination of air or surface travel. Planets with substantial infrastructure and populations typically have airports (airplanes) and rail networks (trains), roads (cars, trucks, and busses), and sea (ships and boats).

When there's no infrastructure, it's common for characters to just land their ship or shuttle wherever there is a flat spot.
