History

In YE 45, the Yugumo Corporation's Yugumo Fleetworks division sought to continue the standardization of its interior modules for the ships it produced. The lounge is designed to provide comfort, relaxation, and recreation for the crew members of a spacecraft or a space station. It serves as a hub for social interaction, relaxation, and downtime in the midst of their interstellar journeys. The Standard Design

The Yugumo Standard Modular Crew Entertainment Lounge is not just a space for relaxation; it's also a symbol of the technological prowess and advanced living standards, where crew members can escape the rigors of space travel and briefly immerse themselves in comfort and entertainment before continuing their mission among the stars. The size of the lounge is dependant on the class of ship it is on.

Comfortable Aesthetics

The lounge boasts a sleek and comfortable design. The walls and floors have LED accents which give the space an advanced and otherworldly ambiance. The color scheme often includes shades of blue, silver, and black, creating a calming and modern atmosphere.

Large Panoramic Windows

One or more walls of the lounge are adorned with large, panoramic windows that provide breathtaking views of space, distant planets, or stars. Volumetric Windows allows for customizable window displays, so crew members can choose their preferred view.

Comfortable Seating

Plush and ergonomic seating arrangements are scattered throughout the lounge. These seats are often equipped with smart materials that conform to the user's body, providing the utmost comfort. Some seats also have integrated entertainment systems.

Entertainment Center

A central feature of the lounge is a KAIMON entertainment center equipped with holographic displays, Virtual Collective Experience stations, and large projection screens. Crew members can use these facilities to watch movies, play virtual games, or engage in immersive simulations during their downtime.

Refreshment Area

A self-serve refreshment area provides a variety of futuristic snacks, drinks, and refreshments. The lounge is equipped with KAIMON systems that serve as interactive assistants, such as the KAIMON/Ascendant Consort. Crew members can use these androids to order food and drinks from the galley, control the lighting and ambiance, or request information about the ship's status and mission updates.

Modules

These are alternative configurations for these rooms. Most configurations can be swapped out in about twenty minutes. Most ships rotate these themes on a regular basis.

Meditation Chamber

A serene room designed for relaxation and meditation, featuring volumetric cherry blossoms, soothing music, and traditional Yamataian aesthetics to help crew members unwind and find inner peace.

Tea Ceremony Room

A space dedicated to the art of the traditional Yamataian tea ceremony, where crew members can enjoy tea ceremonies and bond over shared cultural experiences.
