Skadi Nutrition Systems (SKN) is a subsidiary of Nepleslian Research and Manufacturing (NRM), established in YE 46. The company specializes in developing, producing, and distributing food products derived from BioSynth Proteins (BSPs) derived food products. Since YE 44, both the Ryu Keiretsu and Fujiko Development Corporation have been mass producing artificial nepleslian clones such as the Lily Type Artificial Nepleslian to meet a variety of needs. With this significant population boom, Alexis Wood of Nepleslian Research and Manufacturing quickly saw an opportunity to dominate local food markets and potentially branch out into broader markets. To achieve this, she spun off the Skadi Group, originally part of the Medical Division, into an independent company: Skadi Nutrition Systems.

The previous mandate for the Skadi Group was the development of a means of supporting the nutritional needs of surviving Nepleslian Reds in YE 29 from Kennewes and future clones to replace those that were lost in fighting. Their solution to the problem was NutriBites, a basic but efficient means of producing food. Since then the Skadi Group has been solely focused on refining their BSP-derived food products to address complaints regarding their bland and uninspired flavorss.

Skadi Nutrition Systems established its headquarters at Port Dongfeng, leveraging the FDC's management of the area and the local culture's passion for food. The headquarters is managed by Sigrid Ahn, who oversees both production and research and development (R&D) to maintain strict quality control standards.

Skadi Nutrition Systems maintains several key facilities across Nepleslian-controlled territories:

• Port Dongfeng Production Center: The central hub for all eastern BSP food production, capable of producing high volumes of SKN products for both military and civilian use.
