Personality: A bit of a bookworm in fact you could almost call him a Geek! Levi is known to have an near insatiable curiosity when it comes to science and technology (a seemingly rare trait among most Laibes.) Levi is most happy when reading the latest science journals or in the kitchen, working on a new recipe. Never one to think of himself as superior to anyone due to his upbringing; Levi has avoided developing a superiority complex that plague many a Laibe when dealing with Daurs and My'leke.

Born to a relatively normal upper middle to lower wealthy nuclear family; that instilled in him the value of hard work and perseverance to get what you want and to never think that you better than anyone else. Having a sense of curiosity not found in most Laibes, Levi's parents indulged him and nurtured this by having him try new things as a kit. This led to his love of the sciences (especially the physical ones), of cooking (an offshoot of chemistry; heh) and dabbling in the martial arts where he learned unarmed combat techniques.

Levi has a strong dislike for racists and a deep seated hatred of the Netrunu'marol terrorist group; because they were responsible for the New Harvest Bombings also known as 'the Grandparent's Day Massacre'. In 747 Netrunu'marol terrorists attacked the city of Forben during the time of the revered 'grandparent appreciation day' that is celebrated as part of the week long school festivals of the New Harvest season. They had infiltrated various areas around Forben city including the school Levi was attending and planted several explosive devices timed to go off as opening ceremonies were about to commence. As Levi's principal came up to the podium and was about to speak the bombs went off around the city including the one set at Levi's school; killing and wounding several people a number of which were Levi's classmates and friends, the explosions knocked young Levi out. When he awoke he found himself in a scene of carnage. Once he regained his senses he noticed that his beloved Mee-maw (maternal grandmother) wasn't moving, reaching out to her he saw she was mortally wounded and he was helpless to do anything as she died in his arms. Her dying words of 'don't hate, forgive and seek excellence' is one of the few things that has kept him from turning from his love of science and seeking vengeance once he was old enough to understand what and why the bomings had occurred. Another thing that helped young Levi heal were the series of trips he and his grandfathers took across the planet. This instilled in Levi a love of flying as well as continuing to foster his love of science and showed that the world is filled with many good people as well as those that are evil.

As Levi grew and learned more about the world in which he lived; he realized certain things: the world he knew was very small. He wanted to learn more about what lies beyond just his home planet and that due to his childhood experiences he wanted to protect his homeworld from those who would threaten it both internally and if necessary from those without. The best way to do all this he reason was to join the military
