Yuka has hip length, thick, straight, bright red hair which she keeps parted to frame her face. She has a powerful, muscular yet distinctly feminine, soft build. Her face has well defined yet smooth angles, a strong, pointed chin and a straight, thin, pointed nose. Her lips, eyelashes and brows are all significantly pronounced. Her eyes are bright red, rounded and appear strikingly large. Her skin is pale. Her ears are a little longer than average and have no fur covering. Her body lacks any hair besides the brows and lashes on her face and the hair on her head.

Distinguishing Features: She wears the Type 22 bodysuit with jika-tabi. Yuka has stored genetic blueprints to allow her to restructure her body into a fully male shape without the need for drugs such as Kaserine.

Yuka is a disciplined, stoic, earnest, warrior in combat and a carefree, easygoing chatterbox outside it. She is quick to make friends or at least try to and isn't easily dismayed by negative first impressions or encounters. She has a competitive spirit but is also content to simply improve herself without the need to outdo others. She is patient and understands the importance of taking things at one's own pace. Little can offend her and she wishes more people were the same. As a result she can get along with just about anyone regardless of how much they have in common or even if someone is in many ways her opposite. She enjoys tracking the relationships of others and sticking her nose where it doesn't belong.

Star Army of Yamatai

Yuka performed well during her initial training and the subsequent three months of specialized space infantry training she received. She excelled in hand to hand combat and her good sportsmanship and tenacity resulted in making several friends. She received her training at the Black Sands Test Range. Throughout her career she performed her duties admirably while always finding ways to make her own fun during downtime to reward herself for a job well done. She continued to train in martial arts and routinely entered into and created her own competitions and won some admirers. Yuka earned a reputation for being a fearsome opponent not only for her skill but the enthusiasm and pleasure she showed in seizing, slamming and submitting her opponents. She is known for being relentless and taking an unorthodox approach at a whim. That same relentlessness was time and time again manifested in her social life as she pried her way into the hearts of her companions one way or another and made many at least grudgingly respect her even though she enjoyed fooling around and poking fun at people.

Yuka is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. She is fluent in Trade (language)and (optionally) Yamataigo (邪馬台語). She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc.

Yuka received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols and rifles, knives, swords, and power armor. She is specifically well versed in grappling arts such as judo and wrestling as well as karate. Her proficiency with bladed weaponry is a notch above average. She is quite adept at maneuvering using her gravity manipulation and at using it to enhance her strength in combat and attacking solely with it. As a result of her specialization she consequently has a strong sense of spatial awareness.

Yuka is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.

Yuka received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry.

Yuka is skilled at exhibiting a strong, formal, confident demeanor in stressful situations and has a sensitive personality naturally suited to supervising and comforting those around her. She isn't much for tactics and strategy but she can always think of something positive to say to improve morale or at least soundly defend whatever course of action is being undertaken. She has developed keen senses when it comes to noticing when someone may be lying or attempting to conceal insecurity or stress.

Yuka is adept at feigning and hiding emotions as well mimicking the mannerisms of others. She is particularly good at saying ridiculous things with a straight face and sincere tone. She has a knack for and delights in brow beating and bluffing.

Yuka has knowledge of the history, law and culture of Yamatai and plenty of theoretical know how when it comes to maintaining and operating Star Army equipment and vehicles.
