The black furred Kodian is around average for his species, being 9 ft tall and weighing in at 635 kg. His eyes are brown, being the one of the two bright spots in his appearance, the other being his cybernetic leg prosthetic, though that is usually covered with pants. The bear's bass voice is usually quiet, but can become loud enough to be heard from hundreds of meters away if he finds it necessary.

Stubborn and chilly, Fyodor isn't the easiest person to be friends with. Even those he considers friends and family don't think of him as a people person. The detail oriented Kodian does best on his own, but can work with others when necessary, so long as they don't become what he thinks of as a distraction. The only thing that can change this attitude is when he feels that he needs to atone for a failure or make up for a favor, which he will go out of his way to rectify, even when not asked for. He is pro-Yamatai, thanks to his father's upbringing, though this caused some issues in school, which he 'solved' by beating the other bears that were harassing him and his twin sister, Yulia.

Family is important to the Kodian, coming from a family with five other siblings, especially with his aforementioned twin. The accomplishments of his siblings push him to do more things better. Kind of made him a perfectionist and he looks down on anyone who are fine with 'good enough', though he understands the speed needed during an emergency doesn't always allow for by-the-book operations.

He likes to eat fish and berries (especially strawberries), though he is willing to try anything people put in front of him, so long as there is a good beer around to help it down his gullet. He dabbles in painting landscapes, mostly because they don't complain about being depicted poorly. He's slightly jealous of his twin due to her great painting skills which got her into a prestigious Gashmere arts college.

The detail oriented Kodian did well in his philosophy and martial arts classes, but struggled in understanding the morality of his people. As such, when given the choice of career in his early teens, Fyodor chose to join the military intelligence, figuring that his talents would be best used to protect the state. Being able to avoid the gushy nature of the average Kodian military unit contributed to the decision as well. He performed best in natural survival and really enjoyed going around on exercises that let him act like a commando.

Being 14 when the Star Army came into contact with the Kodians, he was deeply impacted by the Yamataian's arrival, especially with his father, Samuil Isidor Zima, becoming a minor representative of the Alien Peace Council on the General Assembly of Gashmere, the Kodian's pro-alien party. Thus, it was no surprise that once Fyodor graduated from his decade long service in Kodian intelligence agency, he went to join SAINT, with the glowing recommendations of his superiors.

His instructors were a little skeptical of the 9 ft tall alien and thus put a significant amount of pressure on him, seeing if the Kodian had what it took. Thankfully, he did, going through SELECT nearly flawlessly. The only real problems that he had were the urban surveillance and evasion exercises, being a bear and all, and learning Yamatago. The shining moment of SELECT was the ending combat exercise, being a terror on the field with the dual Aether Shock Arrays on his HELGA.

INDOC on the other hand, was a little more difficult. He already knew most of the techniques that his instructors taught, but the classroom learning nearly wore down his patience. Thankfully, he survived levels I and II, and didn't have to do level III, as that only works on NH model androids. Graduating from the SAINT program, he was ready to serve the Empire wherever he was sent.
