Aera has large catlike ears (bigger than those found on a Nekovalkyrja, sky blue hair usually kept in a large bun, and a striped tail. Her body is colored in short gray and white fur and her skin is splotchy, irregular black and pink. She has sky blue eyes.

Aera Maren is cheerful and inquisitive anthro who loves to learn and share the information about the universe. She's an idol to anybody that enjoys learning and it's only natural she also found entertainment and learning to be her favorite things to do.

Aera Maren was born in 22/2/YE 19 in Ternifac on Yamatai (Planet).

She joined the Star Army of Yamatai in YE 39 after turning 20. She was promoted to Nitô Hei in YE 40. In YE 41, she was promoted to Ittô Hei and transferred to Taurus Star Fortress to serve as the main communications secretary.

In early YE 42, with the help of her coworkers, Aera used an anti-matter NAM UMD munition she won in a year-end giveaway by Second Chance Salvage Corporation, along with an old escape pod to rig a trap for Kuvexian-allied pirates, resulting in the destruction of a scavenging enemy cargo ship. For this success and inventiveness she was promoted to Jôtô Hei¹⁾.

In YE 43, she became an NCO after being promoted to Nitô Heisho.

In YE 44.1 she was promoted to Ittô Heisho.

In YE 45.3 she was promoted to Jôtô Heisho.
